PlumeTomb's one great flaw!!! (How SP's can beat it!)

can I not I think post 42 pretty much sums up my point, you keep making these threads with titles like 'ZOMG I'm a genius look at what I noticed' then start smack talking anybody who dis-agrees with you

How about this you every heard of something called an even match??

Perhaps.. just perhaps this is one of those, now thats outlandish isn't it, the fact that the match between DC and VileGar might come down to whose the best player and who makes the least mis-plays

That's pretty much the entire point. Trying to find ways to make it uneven in favor of the SP's.

to make it uneven in favor of SP's there has 2 be some conditions
1- Vilegar has the worst starting hand ever
2- Vilegar player is a noob who is tryng out his new deck for the first time and makes alot of misplays
3- SP player is very experienced

other then that I cant seem to find a way for SP's to win easily...

If your not very experienced with SP, you shouldnt be playing it. Its very hard to use properly, and grabbing the wrong thing with cyrus can easily cost you the game.

Bubble Tea, barring the "noob" factor if you want to call it that. SP has some outs for Gengar/Plume this also depends on which varient, I've personally found if SP gets a very workable opener, it can really put a lot of pressure on the Gengar/Plume, since its a lot harder to swarm Gars without Claydol and in general consistent draw.

So BubbleTea, you're basicly saying SPs matchup with Vilegar is 20/80, because I strongly disagree. I think it definitely depends on who's playing each deck, but I also think that the two decks have very even matchups. I'm pretty sure that an experienced DialgaChomp player (eg Rikko145) could beat a good Vilegar player.

BubbleTea - DGX tech. Drifblim. Poke'Turn. Answer their counter with one of your own.
Afro-G - I highly agree. (And thanks for the compliment! :))
Minimidget94 - Very untrue. There have to be some pioneers or no deck would be played. Everybody is unexperienced when they first start with a deck. They just have to learn fast.

You can't PokeTurn under a lock... >.<

I see where you're coming at, but I just don't see you fully charging Drifblim just to rid of a Mightyena, haha. Since you basically HAVE to DCE it, and you can't Energy Exchanger to get it back.

Unless of course you're talking about both of those techs in one deck. Because that's a tad clunky. =/

Edit: Grammar Problems

Why does an SP deck always have to have an unfair advantage. Maybe this time it just won't.

That's why I am loving the whole vileplume conversation though. It's making SP players modify their decks to counter it. Which means they will be unprepared for something. Maybe it will be Machamp, or maybe Donphan. Either way this Battle Roads is going to be very interesting.

Well if we're talking about something like states or regionals, you should know your deck inside and out.

I want everybody who went to Battle Roads today to remember it. VileGar was slaughtered by SP's. (In my area and others that were reported.)

But fitting a DGX tech, AND Drifblim tech (Which to me is what I think he's saying?) in a SP deck is clunky, unless it's an SP toolbox. (Which won't be all that good against Gengar Prime Lv.X)

Speaking of! What will DGX do again that? It may be a pain in the butt to get out (I don't know yet, which is why I said may) but what if you're killed by a Gengar Prime? Bye-bye Dialga.

(I haven't tested that yet however, so take that as something to think about.)

It's not in the format right now. I'm not worried about it.
