Hi Guys,

I have noticed more and more traders are using a point system for trades.
My question is this, is it worth doing and what would be the pro's and con's doing this?
What do you guys think about the point system?
Any input or feedback would be awesome.
 
I'm pretty sure the pro is that it basically means an auto trade with not much need for debating as well as the OP getting a better deal than straight trading/buying. Seems like a lot of points threads are huge rip offs but it could just be me.
 
I like having a point system as it is pretty much just pricing your items but without the common currency values. I think it really helps, but I do agree with bagoly that a lot of the values are a rip off.
 
Yeah true, if it is set up right it could work in both sides.
I look at it like this one trader wants bulk in every thing, the other has old ultras or foils they want to off load for meta cards.
But you are right most of the threads with points system are kind of in favour to them.

Yeah those types of threads need to be updated very frequently as the prices of most cards go up and down due to ebay.
That would be the hardest part of doing a points system is working out a fair price.
 
It's pretty much selling to troll and toad. I did a little match and their values are pretty close but it beats troll and toad. Some sellers are taking holos for 10-25 cents a lot more that 0.05... -_- TnT sucks.
 
Yeah they are good in a way they have a lot of old stuff.
I have been thinking of doing a points system as I like bulk just need to work out on a fair system.
