*facepalm* You don't attack with Ho-oh... It's used to get back the fighting energy and is used as energy switch bait.

@Flygon2071 You're really undervaluing the power of one of trainers, especially with Sableye and Skyla.

it doesn't matter if you want to attack or just use it's ability, either way, it just doesn't work in this deck.

LIke I said, it's a speed thing. It actually gives it a better Keldeo matchup because Keldeo has a problem with speed decks, and if you can get a T1 Land's Judgement, you can KO Keldeo on T2, same with Night Spear.

Have you actually tested it? It actually matters a lot if you're using the attack (horrible) or the ability (great). Rebirth accelerates energy, so you can energy switch it to get the T2 Night Spear more often. It also gets back Fighting energy, allowing you to use Land's Judgement easier. Ho-oh can also be used as an easy ultra ball choice, and actually allows you to discard fighting energy with ultra ball or juniper. Also, if your opponent targets Ho-oh instead of Darkrai or Landorus, more power to them. You're keeping your big attackers alive longer.

Being able to dark patch to the active is cool, and it means you don't have to waste energy drops to get out of catcher as well. It also means RayEels doesn't just et up all over you, and means you don't autolose against those random Accelgor decks.
 
Keldeo is a waste of space in this deck and only 2 sableye be needed

Energy Search is an all around great card in this deck. On top of the fact that you can get either Dark or Fighting with it, it's also retrievable from the discard with Sableye. I've never had an Energy Search in hand and wished I had an energy instead.

-1 Mewtwo (Assuming we have 2, it's hard to tell when the list isn't up to date)

If you want speed, you need 4 Dark Patch and 4 Ultra Ball. 1 Mewtwo is really enough if there is a fully charged Mewtwo bashing at you, and you shouldn't need to use Mewtwo any time other than that.

-1 Terrakion (Assuming we have 2)
+1 Dark Energy
We need 9 Dark + Energy Search in order to be consistent enough, I'm not sure how this deck could manage with only 8 Dark. 1 Terrakion is fine with 2 Landorus (Do we have 2 or 3? We only need 2), you don't need more than 3 fighting attackers and Landorus > Terrakion in most circumstances.

We only have 1 Mewtwo in the list, and 4 Dark Patch is too much, especially when we can get them back with Sableye.

9 Dark energy is way to much since we can get them back with Dark Patch. And 2 Terrakion is necessary to really counter Darkrai, Landorus can't do it himself. Plus he only gives one prize when KOd.

There is no way 1 Energy Search is better than an extra Energy, especially since have have so little Fighting energy as it is.

I can't add them back in, but the 2nd Terrakion is utterly useless, and I'm not sure how you are ever getting a t2 Night Spear with 8 Dark Energy. And Energy Search > Energy in literally almost every way possible. You have Ho-Oh for if you run out of Fighting.

If it will allow you to get a T2 Night Spear, then yes, I will gladly "waste" my supporter for an energy. Energy Search also allows you to junk hunt for an energy, which is huge.

Energy Search helped me many times on the way to my cities wins, while Terrakion is much more situational and limited in effect.
 
For thinning, getting the T1 Hammerhead, Retaliate with Terrakion, or a pinch energy, Energy Search is definitely worth it.

Oh yeah I remember that with battles againest me you would skyla for a key energy ;)
