PokéBeach Community Decklist #6: YMCA (Yanmega Prime/Mew/Cinccino BW and friends)

+1 Copycat for maximum chances of matching hand size with opponent.
+2 Pluspower to get the extra damage when needed.

+3 Professor Oak's New Theory: Great shuffle draw supporter. Don't be too concerned about opponents hand size because I would say over 50% of the time I'm able to match after playing it.

And for the last slot, let's add another Psychic Energy just to make things nice and pretty. (Plus there's four Mews, so four Psychics is good and we can conserve the other Energy for something else, not to mention Rainbow Energy puts a damage on the already frail Mew.)

Now that the decklist is 60 cards, tweak to your heart's desire! :]

dmaster out.

- 1 Copycat
- 1 Pokémon Communication
+ 2 Poké Gear

Junk Arm has not enough cards to abuse to be worth it.

Edit: You have 3 Junk Arms to re-use Communication. That makes 3+3, and only Cinccino/Yanmega need to be communicated if you don't draw them directly.

Take out a staple trainer for another trainer?

-1 Copycat
+1 Pokemon Communication (should be maxed)

Especially with 2 Pokegear, you don't need that many judge and copycat for just yanmega, especially when you are already running oak.

-2 Eviolite (Mew still can't survive anything with an eviolite (it survives... Donphan, who will probabably fall in popularity because it can't kill a tornadus or reshiram for the life of it with eviolite, and it even mises out on zekrom with a pluspower, and Yanmega, who an kill mew with a pluspower anyway).
+2 super rod (you need recovery to swarm frail attackers all game)

Alright. This list could really use some work right now...

-1 Super Rod
-1 Crobat Prime

+2 Professor Juniper

I've been testing YMCA for a very long time now, and to be honest I have not really like running Crobat. It can probably snag a prize here and there (namely against Donphan, which is dead with NV) but overall it isn't worth running. One Super Rod is all that's needed, simply because you have Junk Arm. Two Juniper is for drawpower.

Other things in this list I'm leaning against are Jumpluff, Muk, and Rainbow Energy, but I still have to test those more before I can really say anything.

-1 Jumpluff
+1 Cinccino

Makes the Cinccino line a bit more stable, while also allowing you to See Off a Cinccino if necessary. You also can't truly impact the damage Jumpluff does like you can with Cinccino.

Then why even run mew at all if you have 0 lost zone fodder?

-1 Super Rod
-1 Muk
-1 Copycat

+1 Pokegear
+1 Junk Arm

Copycat is really bad draw and not needed in any non-trainer lock deck. Muk is bad here because your opponent can just use Switch. And then Super Rod is bad because there's just so many attackers you can use. And you have enough energy without it.
