I recommend sending all judged entries to whoever posts them before you leave so that if everyone else is DNF, we still get results
Can't do it until all entries are in. As bigfoot noted, we can't release an incomplete set of results.
After discussion with Luis and IA, we determined that the deadline is for submissions only. While Luis and I are usually finished judging by the actual deadline (with results posted accordingly), it isn't something you guys should necessarily expect. The time between the submission deadline and when IA posts the next month's competition is still designated as judgment time; results should be expected anywhere between the hours following the submission deadline and the hours preceding posting of the next competition. In fact, we've been considering holding results for a few days anyway (until the last/first of the month or when the next round gets posted).
Just because we've been on top of things the past few months (posting hours after the deadline), doesn't guarantee we will always. It takes far longer than most of you would expect, and with the recent surge of entries this month (don't get me wrong, we love it!), I've already spent close to 10 hours judging (it takes anywhere between a half hour to an hour per card).
And yes, two weeks is a long time to wait for results. Not disagreeing there! I'm done judging this month's entries so far, and Luis is likely very close, so you
won't have to wait that long this month, but really, even if you did, you're waiting on something that's done during the free time Luis and I have.
I'll send Luis my results right before I leave tomorrow. There's a good chance we won't get any more entries anyway, in which case results will be posted quickly. If not, though, we don't want to hear any complaining! It won't be two weeks of waiting, and that's all you guys need to know. <3
