Woo, I got a higher score than my last entry! =D
And yeah, I realised my fonts were a little off after I submitted and wasn't sure if it was worth the penalty for editing a submission. At least there's always next month! ^_^
I'm really hoping next month is a wordplay challenge for a word like "Merry" or something because I love those challenges

DNA, I hope you know I'm in this to blow your innocent little mind with my cards. Not to win.
Just wanted to say that the Poké-POWER symbol on my card is in the exact same spot as in my Darkrai-ex card which was said to have the symbol in the exact spot.

I would've made it last until the end of your next turn, but I wasn't sure how to word that, and I thought I actually had pretty good wording this time (cough coughoctobercough).

I was hoping that I'd get some sort of comment for relating my card to the anime (episodes 259/260), but that's fine too. Nice work to everyone who entered

@ CMP, there aren't any actual wording errors on Honedge. I used pretty much every DP Unown card ever as a reference for the power, if they weren't there you would've been marking Jirachi ex. But I guess I would've dropped a point for originality. Eh. second by .5pts is really awesome actually. I just wish I could've had more space for Night Slash

All right...I'm now going to come back with the feedback I got over the past month. There weren't many people who said stuff, but it was enough to determine what to do next.
Most people liked the type themes this year, it was a good starting point.
The word challenge actually had mixed reviews - some people really liked it, others disliked it.
One guy suggested the point values for judging be scaled up a bit for next year. Definitely possible, just so long as it's still multiples of 5.
A few people suggested more themes besides just the basic types. Though we do have enough types to fill up all 12 months, you could do a lot more besides that in just 12 months. Suggested themes included:
These were all pretty good suggestions. A possibility would be to do one of these every other month, and then on the ones in between you can pick from 1 of 2 types. Not sure how that would work, but it is the first thing to come to mind.

I think the point values are fine as-is. That's how I've been judging CaC since it started a couple years ago, and I'm so used to it that it'd be difficult to change. The other suggestions all sound fine me me, though, except...
