Oh, hey guys, two things that I completely forgot to make sure got added to the OP (I'll see that they added for next month):
All correspondence must be done through PokeBeach. This is to ensure that in the event of a dispute, PB staff can get an accurate account of events, who said what when and all that good stuff. Exceptions will be made if the site is down (i.e. if your match time is approaching and you can't access the site, you could communicate through PTCGO or Skype if you had that information), but the scheduling of your match needs to be done on this site, through this site's PM system, so we can have a record of what happened. Remember, showing initiative in getting your match completed has weight if I need to make a decision based on activity.
To participate in this tournament, PMs must be enabled. They're enabled by default, so the only way this will ever be a problem is if you shut them off. Don't shut off your PMs. If we can't PM you, there's gonna be trouble. Just leave them on. I've been here going on eleven years (oh
god) and not once has it been an issue. You'll be fine.
I don't want to poke the bear, but did anything ever happen with the yearly tally of all tourney results? I remember it being a thing after four of them but never again.
Someone else asked me this, too, and I'll tell you the same thing I told them: I don't know. I do remember it being a thing; at least, I remember it being mentioned. I've inquired about it, so when I know, I'll make a post about it.
