Does anyone know how long it takes for friends to show up on the my page of the PGL on the DW site? I traded with a friend on both of our DW games about 5 hours ago and still has not shown up or do we need to trade at least 10 times or more XD? Thanks.:)

I believe you both need to have a Pokemon GL account (obviously) and put a pokemon to sleep (at which point your friend list will be synced as well). When both of you have done this, it should list the other person as a friend. I added Equinox this way, although there seemed to be a 24 hour wait after he showed up as a friend before I could visit his island.

The website states that stats like that are only updated once a day.

There should be Jirachi or Latios and Latias dolls for March. It' probably be, Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Celebi.

That makes sense because you have to wait for the PGL to load itself to do it I guess XD.:)

EDIT: Those of you who need the DW Garchomp I have it for trade. I have not added it to my trade thread yet. If any of you have the U.K. DW Pikachu event I will be happy to trade my Garchomp for it and if any of you have the Jabocca berry I can trade you a Custap berry after I plant it and grow it XD. Just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention that I have the Garchomp and the Custap berry XD. Post your offers in my trade thread. Thanks XD.:)

Looks like the starter dolls we were promised at the BW2 launch for registering BW and BW2 have finally hit, along with the Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini skins. No passwords or anything, but I'll move them back up from Expired. Neat.

Just checked and saw them. When I saw "Cool Doll Prizes, and "Cool C-Gear Prizes" I was like "What do those mean?" Then I clicked on the Dolls and saw the starters and then I remembered. "Oh yeahhhh. The promotion for registering B2 or W2 and B or W on the same PGL account. I was just about to post a note to this. Chariblaze beat me to it :p But yeah, finally some C-Gear skins under our belt of B2W2. Even though we had them for BW, it's still pretty cool for them to release them again. I sure wish they would re-release the Zoroark skin.

Then we'll have Meloetta within the next few weeks!

The Zoroark skin is probably still on the way XD. How long does this last? Oh do we have the event data on the Wal Mart events? If not here it is. If you buy B/W 2 at Wal Mart you get a secret code to get Piplup Chimchar and Turtig as the Sinnoh starters. I am not sure how long this lasts but I think it ends in May and started about a week r two ago XD.:)

So you only get this if you registered before January 17th? That's stupid, they should just give it to everyone who has both. I'm really pissed at the amount of Global Link shit they've been doing for BW2 players who bought the game near release.

Yeah, I get that, but having a shitload of Global Link events and then shutting out people who have BW1 but don't get BW2 instantly is ridiculous, it's like they're so scared that BW2 isn't going to sell that they have to use ridiculously restricted events to convince people to buy it.

I wouldn't say "terrible", but it is somewhat underwhelming IMO. There's several things they could've handled a lot better (regional design and Pokemon distribution come to mind).

You make a good point because they want us to buy them to get the events. The events on one version that you have already cannot be gotten again on the other unless you get the versions you don't have and do the events all over again. I don't see why you can't share the events with both of your versions. I have all the events to date on White 1 and I just got Black 1 yesterday but I don't see why we can't share the events that I have on White for example XD.:) Or can we share the events? If so how do we do that XD? I would like o use the same C Gear skins that I have already on White and use them on Black. Is there a way I can switch versions and highlight the changes and if I switch to Black and sync instead would it transfer the C Gear skin to Black also? Thanks.:)

You can't share GL events. The only thing that can be done is getting the event on all game cards during the time the event is active. The original reshiram/zekrom skin was an exception since it was activated for both black 1 and white 1 at the same time and could not be acquired twice (at least I was locked out of getting the second skin even though the one I got became linked for both of my BW1 cartridges).

So why exactly can we not share GL events? IMO, they should've just done it so the events are tied to your account, not your game. Either way, a lot of the GL events have been annoyingly restrictive, especially since nearly all of the ones that have happened since BW2 launched have been BW2 exclusive for almost no reason other than trying to convince you to buy the game. They definitely went overboard in that regard.

Ok here is why you were locked out XD. If you did not do both events with the Reshiram and Zekrom on say your White then you can't do it on another White version unless it is White 2. If you have both B/W 1 you should have been able to get both skins on both versions by transferring the events between versions and then doing it on Black with the Reshiram and Zekrom like you did with White. If you have 2 White 1's then you can't do it because it is the same cart with a different ID XD.:)

I had both B&W1 and both event dragons. I completed the Victini minigame once, but it never showed up for the other dragon on either cartridge's DW access.
