After playing many Pokemon games I have gotten an idea to make my very own Pokemon game. I thought that that was a great idea. I decided to call it Pokémon Blazing Fire Version. My friends and I have been making many Pokémon for it and have started mapping. However, we realised that It might take a while to actually finish the game. I will especially need help to make the game. We have got the programming skills to do it but help is still wanted.

The actual storyline:

You wake up. Go downstairs and your Mom is waiting. She then gives you the Pokégear. She then tells you that your childhood friend Leaf came by, telling her to make sure you go with him to the Pokémon lab.

You go with Leaf and meet Professor Ivy. You will then get your starter, which is either Tadfin, the water starter, Geckleaf, the grass starter, or Scorpyre, the fire starter.

After that your rival takes the starter that yours is weak to to give him the advantage. Then your rival challenges you to a battle. After that, if you win he gives you a present, Pokétech 1.3 which is a upgrade for your Pokégear or the Pokénav which is basically a map.

Then you go joke to tell your mom and she gives you the running shoes. Then you head to the nearest town. You meet wild Pokémon on the way and your starter should be about Level 12 by the time you reach the town and it is good to have at least two more Pokémon.

The Gym leader is called Nystrom and uses ice and grass types. His first Pokémon is Snorunt Lv. 10. His second is Maysnow Lv. 12 and his final one is a Hailshroom Lv. 14 If you picked Scorpyre this Gym is easy.

Afterwards you see Leaf and he tells you to come with him to the Pokemon lab and the last Pokémon not taken by you or Leaf has been stolen by Wave, a shady character. Then Professor Ivy gives you the latest version of the Pokédex.

Then as you go back to the nearest town you see a young boy with blue hair run up to you. He then tells you that he stole the Pokémon is going to use it to beat you and the Pokémon league!

After the battle he runs off. You can then continue to go to the next town. When you reach the next town you see Leaf and two men in black suits. Then you and your rival double battle the two men. After that one of the men says "Team quantum will rule!" and leaves.

After that you can challenge the Gym Leader Harry. He uses Grass Pokémon.
He has a Brantwig Lv. 16 and a Geckphibian Lv. 20.

Then you get to the next town, your father who is one of the Elite Four talks to you and gives you the item that you did not get from your rival at the beginning. Talk to all the people there as you can get a free Eevee and
a special stone to evolve it with.

After that you can challenge the Gym Leader Bellany. She has a Whismur Lv. 23, a Rattata Lv. 27 and aRaticate Lv. 31.

When you then can go on to the next town.

Enough of the storyline now, a completed Pokédex:

Can I please have some views on my work so far? And also I will soon be adding a region map.

*This does not mean we are short of staff but help is appreciated.
Also, the legendary is going to be called Blazia pronounced Blaze-ia

So, this must be the first thread unlocked by the mods. Cool. I like what you are doing. Do you need help with names?

I could have help with the names if you could. But which names? Pokemon/Towns?

_______________

The reason it was unlocked was to add info. Then they said fine keep it unlocked or something like that.

Pokemon. Are you sure you want to go with the name of the legend be Blazia?

Sounds interesting, but here's a few things...

-You're planning on having Burmy and Wormadam...but no Mothim? What happens to the male Burmy in your game? Will they be like Combee and not evolve?

-The name Esgcarlee doesn't flow very well, at least in my head. The 'g' and 'c' don't mesh well together, sounds awkward.

-You say the first gym leader has a Pokémon called Hailshroom, but it isn't in the 'dex yet. If it's encountered that early, you may want to include it...how far in progress is your Pokédex?

Good luck!

Seeing there are 120 Pokémon in the dex Hailshroom and Maysnow appear 94th and 95th. Thanks for the criticism. Male Burmys do not evolve until you have the national dex fir some reason that I have yet to produce. Oh yes it is because Mothim is a pokemon that is from sinnoh and has adapted for cold weather as Sinnoh froze over. Here it is very hot and mothims wings dry out too quickly for it to survive. The other pokemon in blazing fire have adapted to the temperature.
The reason they come after the national dex is because there is a Rotom in the Team Quantum lab release solar power all over the region. After you catch Rotom as it is only available after the league and when all other 119 Pokemon have been caught. After it has been caught the temperature returns to normal and Mothiks thrive.

It is meant to be Esgarlee. Slip of the finger. And there are going to be 120 in the dex. May not seem like much but that's all there is. The legendaries are Arikarmi and Jirachi so far.

Awesome -- interesting reasoning! Can't wait to see how you implement it in the game.

You have Maysnow as #19 in the 'dex, though.

I think the leaders and Elite Four are overpowered. I assume you are trying to put in more challenge, but it would force a huge amount of grinding for the player. It's good to see that you have screenshots and the game actually exists, so keep it up, a'ight?

Somehow the Pokémon got massively overpowered but considering the region is large, there is plenty of time to get them up the levels. I can't video it until I get it back from my friend who took it to America with him. It's only an intro but it is real proof the game is going somewhere.
