I've started to collect the B&W mini volumes and got myself a box containing volume 1-8 and I know that Volume 15 will come out April 1st (Vol. 16 June 3rd, Vol. 17 August 5th)
But after that, what happens? Someone please fill me in!

Thank you!

Text of the Article:

It has been reported that Chuang Yi, the manga publisher based in Singapore, are ending their manga business and have gone into voluntary liquidation. Suspicions of the company folding had been circulating online as early as 2012, when their website and Facebook page stopped being updated. For a limited time, however, a handful of new volumes was still being published. These new volumes gradually slowed down to a halt and the company is now registered with Singapore's government as being currently in liquidation. Chuang Yi is best known among Pokémon fans for their publication of the popular Pokémon Adventures series, as well as several series which were not licensed by VIZ Media, such as Pokémon Pocket Monsters, Phantom Thief Pokémon 7 and Ash and Pikachu. Their last Pokémon title was Pokémon Adventures volume 41, released in February 2013.

Founded in 1990, Chuang Yi published manga in English and Chinese in several countries in the Eastern Hemisphere, including Singapore, India, Malaysia and the Philippines. Distribution of their titles to Australia and New Zealand was handled by Madman Entertainment, which have announced that they will begin distributing VIZ Media's translations of some of their titles as the stock of Chuang Yi volumes continues to be depleted.

More information from ANN can be found here, and from Madman Entertainment here.

As far as I can tell, Viz Media is still releasing English volumes of Pokémon Adventures in the United States, so presumably official translations will still be happening. If you live in a country that sells the Chuang Yi versions, you may have to get the translated volumes via import instead.

Thank you, for opening another Thread. :D
Well, where I get the Pokémon Manga from, they sell the Viz Media ones, so I do hope I can keep on collecting the mini volumes. <3
I've become very fond of them.

Such a shame, they were the only company that got it right, and gave more Pokemon manga a chance.

I'd say VIZ should bring out a few we're missing out on but I'm sure they' do something like horribly chop up Re-Burst with censorship.

I'm from Holland and the second Box came out recently which contains Vol. 9 - 14 of B&W.
I hope the third box will come out soon too, think that will be the last one?
Would probably contain Vol. 15 - 20.
And saw the XY volumes were already being released as well..

My wallet isn't going to be pleased with all of this..
