IC: Night calls back Luxray and Emboar, leading the way to Mr Creeper's classroom.

IC: Lennon, who had been skipping class, stealthily snuck into mr. Creepers room with the rest of the class.

As Mr. Creeper started to teach he noticed that a student wasn't there. Night was lead astray by a floating Chandelure. It lead Night outside, somewhere near the windows of Mr. Creeper's classroom.

Dusk: "Chandelure what are you doing?"

Dusk was with Vanessa, as he was training their Pokemon together. Chandelure gestures towards Night.

Dusk: "I see. You're that student who masters ghost. I guess Chandelure sees that"

Dusk takes out a Luxury Ball.

Vanessa: "Dusk, you're not going to battle are you?"
Dusk: "Why not, do you see a reason not to? If Chandelure sees potential in Night then why shouldn't I give him a chance? Let's go Chandelure."
Chandelure(ominously): "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..."

Meanwhile in Mr. Creeper's classroom, as class was progessing, a few students noticed that a battle between Night and Dusk was occuring. When he asked what was happening, he got a responce saying a battle was happening.

Mr. Creeper: "Well, I'd hate to interrupt class, but since it's such a rare occurrence when Dusk battles, I guess I'll make an acceptation. All students who want to watch, follow me. If you don't stay here, and study something.

I'd do Damage Counters, but I don't want to.
I'll explain the fairly simple way of doing damage counters:
Predict how much would happen using percentages. (levels not calculated).
I would say the complex version, but that's too hard to explain (and I don't want to).
So use this:
If Lampent used Ember on Blastoise, it'll deal 15% damage. But that's just estimating without calculations.

Anyone could do this after both me and Vortex posted.
Understood.

Although Night is amazed, he knows to focus on the battle.
"Go, Luxray! Let's start it off with a super-effective Crunch!"
The electric lion's legs glow a bright blue, then he charges at Chandelure and chomps hard.

Dusk: "Chandelure. You know what to do."

Chandelure glowed an eerie purple and used Shadow Ball.

I'm just gonna do the DC, since nobody's really on(but it'll only be estimation):

Luxray loss 23% damage! (77%)
Chandelure loss 34% damage! (66%)

Vanessa: "Wow Dusk, your Chandelure took quite a hit."
Dusk: "You should know better Vanessa..."

"Ok, Luxray, use Thunder!"
Glowing again, Luxray sends a static pulse towards Chandelure, which gradually gets stronger.

Chandelure took the hit without flinching, nevertheless it did damage of course.

Dusk: "Chandelure, Flamethrower!"

Chandelure glowed red and shot a burst of flames at Luxray.

Out:

Luxray loss 26% health! (51%)
Chandelure loss 29% health! (37%)

Night knows that Dusk will pull something clever off.
"Luxray, use Volt Switch and swap places with Emboar!"
Luxray attacks, returns and Emboar appears.

Dusk smiles at Night's decision.
Dusk: "I'm afraid, you've done the opposite of what you'd want to do. Chandelure, Pain Split*."
(*Pain Split can only be used twice per battle)

Chandelure and Emboar glowed white and a chain formed between them. The chain then broke.

Emboar and Chandelure's health has been divided to 69%!

Dusk: "Pain Split is a move that gathers all the pain held by one Pokemon, and 'shares' it with it's opponent."
(Forluma: (a + b) divided by 2)

Chandelure loss 23% health from Volt Switch! (46%)

"I found it funny that in the tournament, nobody used their Pokemon's ability. Maybe I should ask Ms. Violet to do something about that.
