You are lucky! My pokemon have a caught a few cases of Pokerus in the past, and I believe it's even more uncommon than shinies.

It's pretty simple. The pokemon just gains a lot more experience and is easy to train. Take advantage of it!

Not true. Exp gain is not affected. What IS affected is the EVs, which are doubled from battles, Power items (like power Bracer), Exp share, etc.

Can the pokerus be pased on to other pokemon on my team? If so, How?

If the pokemon with pokerus is in your party it has a chance of spreading it to to other party members after a battle. I don't remember how long exactly but in a while the pokerus symbol will turn into a small smiley face. This means that the EVs are still doubled but it can no longer spread, but it won't wear off in the PC. Spread it to a bunch of pokemon and store some in the PC for when you might need it in the future.

Not sure if anyone thought about this already but...

So, now, some pokémon have their hidden abilities changed (i.e: Scolipede) while others who didn't have an hidden ability, now have one (like Kecleon). Thing is, the latter actually have a hidden ability slot, the slot is simply filled with their normal ability.

So, my thought is: do you think that if we get a Kecleon (or a Scolipede) through DW and then (in December) transfer it to XY, the Color Change (or Quick Feet in the case of Scolipede) in the HA slot will change to Protean?

If you think about it, it's kinda the same thing that happens with a pokémon's type. Clefable, for example, which is pure Normal in Gen V, will have its two type slots changed to Fairy when transfered to XY...

In the case of Scolepede, I don't think it will change. What will change it is probably evolution, so a Gen 5 DW Whirlipede will change to a Speed Boost Scolepede if evolved in Gen 6, if I'm right. Thios would be similar to, for example, evolving a 3rd gen Zigzagoon on a 4th gen game and it getting Gluttony.
 
Pokemon X and Y Update 1.1, fixed the Lumiose glitch!

Everyone head on over to the Nintendo eShop, update 1.1 is here and it fixes some bugs, most importantly the game-breaking glitch in Lumiose city that's been getting a lot of press recently. So yeah, everyone download it!

How do I apply my patch to my X version? I have downloaded it but don't know what to do next? I have the eshop version.:)

Its already patched, on the title screen where it has the Continue, Mystery Gift, New Game options it will say Version 1.1 at the bottom of the screen.

How do we migrate our dream points from the DW? I have a registered X version but last I checked the ones from gen 5 have not moved over XD.:)

EDIT: Nothing has transferred over. I thought this was supposed to be done automatically XD.:)

You have to go to your PC in the Pokemon Center then select PR Videos XD.:)

No that's something else entirely. To view battle videos, you need to beat the elite 4 first and get the Vs recorder in Kiloude city. After that, use the Vs recorder from your key items slot.

Oh ok. I thought you could do it in the PC as well. Guess not. Sorry guys. Anyway How do I receive all 18 PPUPs I bought on the PGL? I used Game Sync but only 2 items were sent. I bought 18 XD. Thanks.:)

EDIT: I got all my items I bought yesterday but the Game Sync does not show how many of the items you bought just the different types of items. In which this case I bought 2 separate items so it only showed X2 rather than the actual amount which was 36 PP UPS and 3 Heart Scales. I liked the way Game Sync worked on B/W better because that showed all of your items and how many.:)

EDIT 2: How do we delete PR Videos entirely or can they not be deleted? Thanks XD.:)

Hallo fellow human beings ;)
I am going to be getting Pokemon Y this weekend, and I want to avoid that bug/glitch thing that messes up your game.
The thing is, my internet has been down all week :/ and I'm posting this from school. Is is possible for me to download it before Friday at a friends house, and then use the game afterwards? Or do I need to have played the game before to be able to download and apply it.

Also, I was wondering, if I let my brother play Y on his 3DS, does he have to download the patch too? Or does it automatically fix the game card like the berry glitch fix did? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone figured out how to migrate the dream points from gen 5? Mine have not migrated over. Has anyone else had theirs moved over to their X/Y account yet? If yours have how did they get transferred over from gen 5?:) Thanks XD.:) I am asking because I have roughly 250,000 points that I still need moved over. Thanks XD.:)

Hmm I just went to the hair salon in Lumiose and noticed that there was a new hair style (male hair styles) I could pick that was never there before. Besides very short, short, and medium, there was also medium perm. Is that just something you unlock after you beat the game? I don't remember seeing it after I became champ before, but maybe I didn't pay attention.

Anyone else seen that yet and I am just late to the party?
