I don't think so.

Soak "changes" the tagert's type to Water, while Trick-or-Treat "adds" Ghost to the target's type.

What will happen if the opponent's a dual-typed? The move fails? Or randomly change one of the dual-types?

This could be merely semantics but if anything i think the secondary type will be the one replace

Just thought back to Zygarde and my theory, and while Zygarde seems useless at first sight other than its primary ability, he's not entirely that weak. This is because Zygarde can still use its STAB Dragon and Ground-type attacks on them, just reversed; using Dragon-type attacks on Yveltal, and Ground-type attacks on Xerneas for full neutral damage, as Dark doesn't resist Dragon and Fairy doesn't resist Ground either.

Adding to that, I'm very sure of myself, that Zygarde will be able to learn a few Rock, Steel and Poison type attacks. Rock because of his Ground-type (as Ground types learn a lot of Rock-type attacks), Steel being a common move for many Pokémon regardless of type (except Fire I think), and Poison....well, Poison is easy.....he's a freaking snake, and lot of snakes are poisonous by nature.

Through that, adding his primary ability of Aura-Break, Zygarde full-fills the role of keeping balance and order, without actually overpowering them or weakening himself. Could play a interesting role in the sequel of the games or the third version of the Gen 6 games.

What does everyone else think?

Hello all. New member, although I've been lurking these forums for a month or two now, looking for leaks. Anyhow, I found this review, and this one line interested me and I was wondering if anyone else had any information regarding it from leaks.

Usually in Pokémon caves, you find the standard puzzles—pushing rocks with Strength, making your way through mazes, using Flash (which, by the way, has a completely different effect in X/Y), and, if you count dungeons, being shoved through the floor by transporters that work like conveyor belts.

Hmm, I wonder what sort of affect it has now? Perhaps being able to be used like a repel? Highly unlikely but it would be cool.

I want to head into a cave now....although I now wonder why caves are only 3D. :/

And what do you mean they have a completly different effect?
Flash sure sounds like it can only light up areas.

Aaaargh! Flash is still needed?! I though XY would cut down on useless TMs/HMs.
I just hope my Gogoat or Vivillion can learn Flash, because they're my temp team.

I also don't like that Caves are only in 3D, as it's odd seeing how caves used to be and now they're long, winding tunnels. I'll probably never get to my destination, because it took me years to work out how the caves in RBY/GSC worked.

I can see this generation's cave will be vastly different but, the caves have always been essentially the same layout and schtick?

I want to see flash do more than just light things and reduce accuracy in battle. Honestly one would think using it in the over world would ATTRACT attention of wild pokemon. While in battle I wish it would induce flinching rather than accuracy deduction. Seems more naturalistic to me...

It won't be the same layout, because they'll all be long winding tubes and I'll forget which exit I took and how far I got and I'll get lost for hours like I did in Rock Tunnel!

It looks like the Goomy/Sliggoo/Gloodra line. Their stats are high, especially their SpA and SpD. I actually think they're the first Special stat based pseudo-legendary line, but correct me if I'm wrong.

So the new Pumpkin Pokemon... It looks like it can be passed off as a fake item like Voltrob/Electrode and Foognus/Amoognus.
I can see it now, you're going through an orchid (the supposed berry orchid?) and suddenly, you see rows of pumpkins and once you stopped near one you caught moving slightly, it appears.

I can imagine the shiny sprites for it to be either bright orange or red.

... Speaking of, where would most Pokemon be found? I'm guessing the Pumpkin and Key Pokemon might be in a tower like usual or in underground caverns. Suggestions?

I can get through Rock Tunnel without Flash.

The Caves can be viewed without the 3D turned on.
