I believe he meant that there were 3 spots left before Xerneas, Yveltal & Zygarde in the Mountain Kalos Dex that were tought to belong to the birds. Now it can be used for either new legendaries OR(My toughts) the Regi Trio, leaving the Beast/Pixie/Musketeer Trio for the Central Dex.

I felt the same exact way. I was like OMFG I need to rip out my heart cause it will explode! Then I saw granbull was normal/fairy. It has been confirmed pure fairy unless its pre-evo was normal/fairy and it looses normal upon evolution. But as it is now... it seems like a fake list.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Moltres. It is number 153 in the coastal dex. We now know that there are more that 150 in at least some of the dexes. Perhaps there are legendaries in each. Mewtwo was 151 in the mountain dex IIRC.

Yep, thanks for clarifying. That is exactly what I meant. Now the games just got more mysterious and exciting, whether its going to be old Legendaries or complete new ones, perhaps new lines. Who knows. Now atleast, its confirmed that the three birds aren't next to Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde.

I've said this a few times, but I think the other starters do have megas. I also think that they're probably all unobtainable in game. I'm expecting GF to keep doing torchic-like events until all of them are out. That's only speculation, but I think it makes sense. So far no one has been handed a random starter, and in the Direct, Masuda expressed distaste for starter pokemon in the wild. That being said, I also doubt they'll be released in any sort of order. My guess is sceptile is next, simply because it was on the copyright list. Either that or Piplup, because they like to release event piplups.

Random non sequitur. What if greninja can't learn ice beam? They wouldn't do that... would they?

It really is baffling that Gamefreak would not give this generation a legendary trio. It's synonymous with the games now. Every generation has had a trio and it's well established as part of the core game for any main Pokemon title.

So it turns out Mega Gyarados is NOT Water/Flying. It's also NOT Water/Dragon. It's Water/Dark. Thoughts? I don't mind it, but it was unexpected

It is unexpected, but it's a type only shared by Crawdaunt and Sharpedo, so I'm all for it. The resistance to ice is a nice plus, too.

Its a interesting type-combo atleast. Water/Dragon was too predictable and wouldn't be as much of a surprise. More, seeing it being Water/Dark tells me its a much more improved, deadlier version of Sharpedo.

I would like the Water/Dark typing more if it weren't for Greninja. Gaining the same typing as the final stage of one of the starters means it's not quite as special.

I believe Geomancy will be like Futuresight:
Use it on turn 1; Use a different move on turn 2, and on turn 2 Xerneas's stats increase, therefore not losing a turn as if it were a Sky Attack like charge.

I want a yellow one. And I agree, the different colors makes me slightly more interested. I originally wrote Vivillion off as poketrash. Does anyone know its stats?
