Pokemon Pokémon Walking Along With You

I don't think it's that big of a deal. I wish there was an option to turn it off or keep it on.
If I remember correctly, B&W has the land sprites of every Pokemon, but the following just was not programmed into the game for some reason. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

And yes, Gyarados looks silly.
But Lapras looks awesome. I love it.
 
It wouldn't take much effort at all. They could reuse the HGSS ones and only have like 150 more to make. Then code a script that makes them walk behind you easily (could base it off the HGSS script, maybe fix a couple of bugs noted above). Point is that it's possible.
 
Well of course it's possible, it's just not that needed. A bit too much work for no particular reason. The fact that B/W is the new generation games made it a reason to buy, adding things like walking Pokemon, Battle Frontier, animated trainer sprites, and etc are just add ons for the 3rd version.

Maybe it'll return in the 3rd version or the RS remakes.
 
It is possible, but they would have to update the sprites. They would also need to update the script and test it out multiple times to see if it works out nicely. It takes time to do all this, so I guess the main reason they didn't want to put it in black/white is because they either felt it was unnecessary or didn't have time to update the sprites, add new ones in, and/or update the script.
