Welcome to the first of hopefully many Pokebeach Auction Tournaments! You're probably wondering, "What's going on?!" Let me explain. The Auction Tournament is a tournament designed to group members into teams to challenge each other in a TCG/VG tournament. Here are the specifics:
Rules:
- Members must post in this thread stating they wish to participate, stating whether they will play in VG or TCG and not both.
- There is a maximum of 18 Video Game Positions and 30 TCG Positions.
- Once signups have closed, our Team Captains will bid on which members they would like on their team until they have 2 VG and 6 TCG players on their team.
- Each team will be pitted against another team for a soon to be announced period of time to see which can rack up more wins than the other.
- All TCG matches will be played on PlayTCG and all VG matches will be played on Pokemon Online.
- TCG matches are played in the HGSS-DE format and all VG matches are played in the OU Tier.
- Teams may communicate within themselves to discuss strategy and any concerns they may have.
- After a designated period of time, the two teams that have the most wins will face off in the finals while the rest of the teams face off for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place respectively.
