I was going through the apps on itunes and I found out there are no good quality apps for pokemon. I was thinking was WPM could post a notice asking for people who can design apps for him. (As a free act of kindness, or we could donate money through pay-pal.) Then they could make app where you can look up the latest news, look at scans, go on forums, and such.
I was wondering what you guys would think?
(Mods if this isn't in the right spot, sorry can you please move it?)
 
Well, I think something like this would require internet connection for a constent update on news and scans and stuff. If that is the case, we could just use the Internet App on the iTouch/iPhone.
 
I've had plans to attempt this for some time now, but I haven't really said anything to anyone about it. I've been learning how to design apps for the iphone and such but it's actually a bit simple to do. I wouldn't necessarily make WPM build it, but maybe it could be a forums contribution thing. Everyone works together to make it.

It would be a great idea but we would need a tech genius and we would have to have apple approve( I'm using my iPod to browse right now shhh... It be secret)

To the best of my knowledge, we have an RSS feed. So really all you would need to do is download an app for that and put Pokebeach on it.

I just put PokeBeach as a favorite, and it put it on my page of Apps. Unfortunately I can't remember the whole process I did. Sooo, yah.
 
Would it be possible to have an app for the DS or DSi so that way I can be here more often than not? Just wondering if it can be done? Thanks.:)

For iPod? You press the + sign at the bottom of the screen and click " add to home page". It will be there. It's like an app but simplified. ^-^
 
I just added a RSS feed app. Its pretty neat, you get all the Pokebeach homepage news right there. It even has the little badge that alerts you with the number of new posts.

App Store>RSS>RSS Feed Free

If i can convince my dad, he could make it. He's made a few iphone apps. He'd just need a list of everything we'd want on there to make it work. :]

Yeah. I have both. But only iPod touch and iPhone can use the Internet. They should make it so nano can.

That would be great! PM with his answer. I can send list of what I would like on it.
 
but so many people want to browse the internet with their ipod but dont have the ipod touch
