So I posted a thread about podcast a while back and WPM said they would start one but since it hasn't happened I want to take the initiative and start it up. If you would like to help and join me then post here. I would like to have this be at least a bi-monthly thing, or maybe get to the point to where we could do it weekly. We'll talk about all current news in the Pokemon world and major events in the TCG. I hope that this will work out and go smoothly.
 
They did end up making a podcast. Not to shoot you down but they did indeed make a podcast sort of recently, after your original thread.

Anyways, a podcast for pokebeach wouldn't get much attention, but it might work. What would they be talking about? New strategies/news? It's faster to log on to the main site and read it then it is to open Itunes and download it! I'd recommend an app, but I don't think it would be fair to ask WPM to purchase the ridiculous 100$ license to make apps.
 
I think one of the problems is that WPM needs to have dates for the podcast, make sure the people he wants to have with him in the podcast are free that day, and (possibly) reschedule it. This is quite a lot of work in itself.

A different problem may be that there are insufficient topics to cover in the podcast so far.

We would talk about news, current events, decks, strategys, and everything else. I say we at least try it. What could it hurt?

If it was just a 10-15 minute podcast I think 2 a month would provide plenty of topics.
 
Yes, I don't think it would be that difficult to get information to talk about in the podcast.

I agree, but is it really practical to have a podcast every set time? Maybe one when a big event happens (New gen stuff, New game, Big stuff) but I don't think too many people will listen to commentary on stuff they can just read about on the Forums or Main Site. It's a good idea, but I don't think it would be worth the time or effort.

*edit* If there is one I want to be in in :B

I agree with you. Maybe we could do a once a month thing, and then like ones during big events. And of course I'll be needing help and I think I can trust you for help.

Not that I am aware of. But WPM had an MP3 file download on the page below the clip, where I downloaded and just put it on my ipod. No hard.
 
I think WPM still wants to do the podcasts, at least that's what he's been telling me (as I helped in the past). There's just a lot on his plate right now.
