The PokeBeach Sports Discussion Thread is a replacement for The Champions clan. We discuss the current sports and update each other with scores, and highlights. News of sports is helpful to others and we love to focus on the NFL because we're in mid-season. We have lots to discuss so post and have fun discussing sports.

You may talk about fantasy football and your roster and who you have experienced playing well.

Please enjoy, and hopefully we can make a few little competitions in the future.

I'll put news on this original post hopefully every other day. The news for each sports will be under the league category. ( Ex. NFL, NCAAF )

My NFL team is the Lions, so I'm so glad they are doing well this year. I was their fan back when they were like 0-12 hahah so it's nice to see them 5-1.

As for college, my team is LA TECH, which is my local college. They aren't doing too well, but they do have a rookie QB. He is my age haha. (17)

My High school is not doing so hot because we just moved up into 5A division. (Really big schools.)
So all of our opponents are really good. We are like a BL Pokemon that gets destroyed in OU but kills it in UU.

My NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs, They started 0-3 losing to Bills, Lions, Chargers but, now they hare 3-3 beating the Colts, Vikings and Raiders. I think they can beat the Chargers on next weeks Monday night football.

My College Football team is Kansas State which is about 20 miles away from where I'm at now. They are 7-0 and playing Oklahoma this week in Manhattan so excited.

My High School is 6A team and we hae won the State Championship back in 08. We are 6-2. And we need to absolutely dominate our arch rivals who are 8-0 at their home to stand a chance at playoffs :(

In Louisiana I think 5A is the highest division. I've never heard of 6A.

Yeah, well My high School football team lost 28-20 Friday night. We arent going to the playoffs for the first time since 05 I think. It sucks and well my Undefeated Kansas State Wildcats got whooped today 59-17.

lets go Chiefs on Monday night.

I liek mah KU. Granted, they do in fact suck hard (and by that I do mean VERY hard) at football, but we destroy Basketball like a boss.

My Fantasy Football team is 6-1-0 right now and I'm in first in the league. Lets go!

Anyways, the NCAA divisions are really starting to blow up. About half of the Big 12 is leaving, leaving us with 8, maybe less, but we are getting West Virginia and some other school.

Well the soccer community here in the Philippines is just starting to take off because basketball has been always the only existing sport here.

Ray Rice is coming up big for me in my fantasy league and I'm staying in things despite the Saints' offensive troubles today (I have Brees, Sproles, and Kasay). Looking to go to 7-1, boi.

Uhh Cody, you could stand to make that a little more presentable, lol.

Actually rooting for the Chiefs for once tomorrow. I need them to hold Rivers under about 20 fantasy points, which as it's looking will happen with the way he's played so far this season, but in the NFL, you never know.

EDIT: Never mind, the real Slim Shady, LeSean McCoy, is taking care of things for me in my fantasy match-up. GO BOLTS

Wow!! Was anyone watching the game tonight? What an amazing game, tons of fun to watch, especially because I am a lifelong Chiefs fan.

Glad to see this place is back into a new thread. Not sure if anyone heard but the Cardinals won the World Series 6-2 over the Texas Rangers. I was so happy to hear that they won because they bombed the first 2 games and I thought they had lost and I guess they streched it out through all 7 games too XD.:)
