I'm not a fan of football so I only watch games if there's nothing else on (plus I know they'll be a topic of discussion on the radio shows I listen to), so watching the Giants / Green Bay game was pretty interesting. Green Bay missing all of those passes was pretty sad, though. I don't side with any specific team as I watch a game, but even so it's disheartening to see professionals perform so poorly.

I wanted to watch the Patriots game because if the Broncos had won it would've been a laughfest on the radio on Monday, but sadly I missed it. (Turns out it was a blowout, so I guess I didn't miss much.)

I think with Green Bay out of the running, the Super Bowl is the AFC's to lose.

I see the Giants winning tomorrow, along with the Ravens. I'd prefer it to be 49ers vs Ravens in the Super Bowl however.

A legend in college football just passed today after losing his battle with lung cancer. R.I.P. Joe Paterno; it's a shame his reputation was tarnished by a scandal he had nothing to do with.

It's such a shame JoePa's legacy was tarnished indelibly by the acts of a friend and co-worker. He did have something to do with it, in which he said he wished he did more, but it's such a tragic end to a glorious life. R.I.P.

That miss was awful, and New England's going to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI. Who will they face? We'll find out in the NFC Championship.

Whoever goes there to face the Patriots, it's New England's Super Bowl to lose.

I feel sorry for Paterno. His reputation might be tarnished, but I will always remember his legacy.

On another note, hooray for the Patriots. The missed field goal was unfortunate for the Ravens, though.

I think San Fran will top New York in the NFC Championship and face New England in the Super Bowl, but they will taste defeat in the big game for the first time, 49-24.

And luck is so key in the playoffs. It's not always about skill, you need luck to win 9 times out of 10.

I want the Giants to fall flat on their face. Sure, I don't like the Patriots, but they're way better than either NFC representative still standing.
