I'm fine with SF winning the Super Bowl, too.

What makes it all worse, the Ravens' door is closing season by season. This was the year for a Super Bowl run, after sweeping the Steelers, but one bad mess-up ruins everything.

That's what it usually takes. One little slip-up can (and usually does) mess up an entire season's of hard work. Case in point Baltimore this season.

Watching the Patriots/Ravens game was pretty entertaining - a lot of interesting plays and not a whole lot of boring moments. The ending was unfortunate for the Ravens, but since I wasn't cheering for either team it wasn't a huge letdown personally. I know a local radio personality who must be ripping his hair out, though. xD

In the Giants/49ers game I'm kind of hoping the Giants win so that the aforementioned radio personality's stress is reduced somewhat, but putting that aside I'm just hoping for another entertaining game to watch.

The conference championship games are usually very competitive and very entertaining, because there is so much at stake than a simple playoff game.

A great, entertaining game between the Giants and 49ers - the overtime was nice, but the throughout the overtime the Giants had better control of the ball so it wasn't as suspenseful as it could have been.

Should make for an interesting radio show tomorrow, so I'm happy with the results of both games today. :)

Was kind of disappointed with the ending of that one - wanted the suspense of a sustained drive to win it - but still, great game. So now, we have a rematch of the game in which the Giants shocked the world the first time.

You know what, this game won't be much different. Everyone will expect the Patriots to win, but Eli will have something to say about that.

This is the first Super Bowl repeat since Super Bowl XXVIII when Dallas faced Buffalo for the second time in a row, if I'm correct.

Have not posted in awhile here been busy with my White version. Anyway the Seattle Mariners got a catcher from the Yankees and are planning to trade some more guys soon and we also got a new Pitcher and I think Johjima is still there but have not heard anything about him though. There has not been much news until now XD. Hopefully I will be more active again in this thread soon.:)

Prince Fielder went to Detroit. 9 year contract for $214 million. I think they overpaid for him like the Angels did with Pujols and C.J Wilson.

But, we're now in a league where the only way you can win the championship is to "buy it".

Looks like the Seattle Mariners are completely revamping their lineup and for the first time ever Ichiro will be at the bottom of the list. This is his first time at the bottom in over 10 years. He is about 40 now XD.:)

Greg Schiano is the new head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 5 year contract for I think 2.3 million dollars.

Towson ended its 41-game losing streak in college basketball today, defeating UNC-Wilmington 66-61. The streak of futility, extending into last season, was the longest since NJIT's 51-game losing streak in 2007-2009.

41 games in a row is a long slide, but I'm still surprised N.J.I.T managed to lose 51 games in a row.

I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan since I was born. The hire is risky, but the team is young and this is, I think what the Bucs could use.

right. freeman and blount are my boys. we need some defensive pieces from the draft and free agency. experts are saying that RB trent richardson from bama will be our pick -_- weve got Leggy....we dont need another RB!

You see a lot of teams run two running backs out there in the NFL, and Richardson would be a good change of pace back in Tampa Bay.

i hear ya....and it is the game we've always ran. but whats a good running core without a good o' line? weve got pro bowler davin joseph, but the rest of the guys might as well be practice squad. and our poor d is to blame for freemans poor numbers. youre not gonna have a good QBR when youre playing catch-up every game, yano?

Every team goes through some growing pains, it's sort of expected. When you're rebuilding a team, you should expect off years like this season for the Buccaneers.
