Pokedex 2.0 - Pokemon with Different Types and Evolutionary Lines! - Completed!

I'm sorry, but I REALLY don't want Mysteriguard to be Shuffle exclusive. I left the Infinitus Shrine on the Shuffle 2 map for a reason ;)

Also, I can see the Leami line being exclusive to Shuffle 2 because it seemingly has been ignored for Shuffle 1. No notable trainers use it and I have yet to see it outside of the Safari Zone in terms of encounters.

I agree, and obviously we have veto powers on this. Like, if someone wanted to make the Ovescort line exclusive to either game, I'd have to veto it, because that would leave a game potentially without a universal breeder. I'll update the list to remove Mysteriguard.

Though I am reaching past my station and putting Nateer/Mysteer on the Shuffle 2 list and Petalythm/Melodonna on the Shuffle list because that just makes sense.

So, I did have this random little idea I was wondering if you'd be interested in:

#188 Parushell
Pearl Pokémon

Many tiny pearls form within its body. Even though these pearls aren't valuable to it, it will guard them with its life..

#189 Pakoraru

Ocealed's skin color has changed to match the changing region. Its skin was once blue, and now its pink skin is slowly moving towards brown. (Shuffle)
Ocealed's skin color has changed to match the changing region. Its skin was once green, and now its blue skin is slowly moving towards pink. (Shuffle 2)

It's just a little thing to help spice up the species and reinforce some of the ideas of the prequel thing.

I would like to propose some Uvecat revisions, because there is some wonkiness going on with the line...the core concept is great, but there are a number of little problems with it that seem to be holding it back.

Steffenka's suggestion of adding Mightyena to the line is dead on, it looks great there. I do want to change Darkat's name to Hyeinous (hyena + heinous) because [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyena]hyenas are, in fact, cats[/link] and I think that relationship is worth celebrating. The Mega Stone, Hyeinite, is meant to kind of draw out the "hyena" pronunciation if people aren't grasping it yet in the full name.

The other change I wanted to make is to change Uvecat's form to shiny Eevee, because A. We haven't used Eevee yet, and people would probably find that a bit strange, and B. To preserve the functionality of the [link=http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-pokemon-shuffle-the-pokedex-2-0-region-thread?pid=2666387#pid2666387]Envoyage City Mew Event[/link]. Neither of those things are a good enough rationale on their own, but together I think it justifies the swap. Plus Eevee looks like a good midpoint between Espeon and Mightyena, and there's enough not-Eon in this line that it's okay.

For the stat change, Catelligent had 500/600 and Darkat had 525/625, so I met in the middle at 515/615, reducing Hyeinous's Speed and increasing Catelligent's.

What if post game there'd be somewhere to get the version exclusive Pokemon registred in the Pokedex? Like in XY in the cafes where you could get Entei, Suicune, Raikou etc.? I think it's kinda weird that they just disappear and no one remembers them, and in Shuffle 2, they could be Pokemon from another region that tourists show to you or maybe with the legends say, "rumors have said that a certain legendary looking like this *example Seikoshi* was recently seen". The normal Pokemon form Shuffle 2 missing in Shuffle, could be extinct and some Professor / Archeologist could show you how they looked and what their typing was etc, like if it had been captured?

I have 2 teeny tiny changes to Mega Mantaspor:

#078a Mega Mantaspor
Transport Pokemon
primal-kyogre.png

Mega evolves from Mantaspor by using the Mantasite
Water
Ability: Hydration
Stats: 100/70/130/100/130/90 Total: 620
It's used by fishermen to remove rainstorms, to prevent their ships from sinking.

And I know it's a bit late for a new Pokemon, but I just had to get it out here:

Gojirage
Raging Pokémon
primal-groudon-shiny.png

Evolves from Gojirantrum at low happiness when knowing Frustration
Fairy/Dark
Ability: Noctilate (HA: Anger Point)
Stats: 110/125/100/40/100/115 Total: 590
If a Gojirantrum gets too angry when teased, it will evolve into Gojirage. It is very dangerous, since it has lost control of its body, due to anger issues.

Well, the previous final entry, Gadroiden, repeated a source species (Golurk is already Goliant, Nosai's evolution), so a case can certainly be made for having Gojirage take its place.

For the evolution method, since Mikoprinaly requires Speed to be greater than Attack, so you could just reverse the original method and make Gojirage be what happens if Attack does end up higher by level 43.

I'm cool with Gadroiden being skipped, I totally frogot about Goliant! I also like how we have several non happiness evolution methods as well as fustration finally having a use. It's cool to open up more options for evolutions that Evil Team members can take advantage of.

That's good news that there's no serious issues...since you did make a moveset for Gadroiden, which I really appreciate, I put a few Rock moves on the list so it could serve as the moveset for Bruthos, then used it as a format to develop movesets for Emothos and Technos:

1. Fire Punch

Also, here's a few signature moves for Gralectro, as well as one for Florilord, since its old signature Thousand Waves is obviously Hydrolord's property now.

I just want to check if anyone wants to specify any further game exclusives on top of the list detailed in my Page 15 post...currently, 229/282 Pokémon are available in Shuffle 2, and 256/282 Pokémon are available in Shuffle.

I can't come up with anymore version exclusives :/

Also Reggie would you mind if Monking was shiny Slaking instead of normal? I think it fits a little better in with the line, and it still looks as if it could be Fighting/Normal

In related news, I have actually started the reference wiki that Reggie talked about earlier. Getting the templates in place for it has been a nightmare, but it'll be ready for submissions in a few days.

Reggie said I could help out with a Gym Leader, so here's my idea for Zalem. Since the place has a Factory, I think a Steel Typer would fit. Feel free to mess around with this as much as u like, Reggie!! I didn't know when Zalem is encountered in Pokemon Shuffle 2, so change the levels however you please as well!

Extra Info: Randall is the Gym Leader of Zalem, and runs the factory in that area as well. He is smart and respectful of others, but lives by the rule 'You can't trust anyone'. He has a daughter named Laila, who is an artist and a Pokemon Trainer as well. Because of his trust issues, he won't allow you into his gym when you first meet him, for fear that you are a vandilizer. The player must go through a short side quest first in order to earn Randall's trust. This quest involves helping Laila find her Toxolotl, which has been stolen by this region's Villian Team. After completing this side quest, you have earned Randall's trust and can know enter the gym. Beating Randall will grant you TM 21, Thunder Wave, and the Gizmo Badge. You may also challenge Laila to a battle after beating Randall.

Extra Info: Laila is a young girl and aspiring artist. She is the daughter of Randall, the Gym Leader of Zalem, and specializes in Poison Types. She is very cheerful and helpful, but sometimes a bit clumsy or shy. She is frightened by the thought that eventually she will take up Randall's place as Gym Leader when he is no longer able to. She gives the player character a Water Stone upon being defeated in a standard battle.

Really nice! Levels might change in the future so I will copy this into the shuffle 2 thread when we determine that. I might also add Laila as a battle-able trainer in a route.

So, I may be jumping the gun on this one, because there's still plenty of stuff that hasn't been implemented yet, but I have gotten a decent way through the basic programming for ShufflePedia, the Pokémon Shuffle Wiki. Here's a pair of test pages:

Obviously, Solaria's moveset isn't accurate, but that's because I haven't bothered to put it in yet, not due to an error with how it works. Pokémon pages are almost completely ready to go live, but I haven't really started on area and character pages yet. Once it's done, it'll be exactly as user friendly as Bulbapedia. Whether or not that's a good thing has yet to be determined.

So, I may be jumping the gun on this one, because there's still plenty of stuff that hasn't been implemented yet, but I have gotten a decent way through the basic programming for ShufflePedia, the Pokémon Shuffle Wiki. Here's a pair of test pages:

Absolutely amazing! I will make an account and help out for sure?

EDIT: How did you get the templates?

The easiest way to make a new page is to copy an existing page and change the information on it to match the new Pokémon you're making. I'll start a few more Pokémon pages later today so there's better stuff to copy from.

You did a great job updating Solaria's Origin/Trivia section, but do you mind adding how the name was derived? That's something I'd like to have available for every Pokémon.

If the question is the origin story of the templates, they are wholesale duplicates of Bulbapedia's templates, although they have several custom features, most notably the removal of the Generation tabs. Certain links refer back to Bulbapedia; this wasn't the result of bad copying, but actually intentional; my goal is that, for pages on mechanics that don't change enough to warrant a new page on Shufflepedia, a link back to Bulbapedia is used instead.

How to I duplicate pages? If you mean copying the text of the page, then that will be tough because the Wikia page runs very slow on my computer

That is generally how I do it. Just click on Edit (not VisualEditor) for the page you want to copy, and then Ctrl+A to Ctrl+C. Once you've pasted it in the new page, then you can start changing the details.
