This thread is only a warehouse/collection for the project. All work is submitted here and acts as a reference for workers.

Storyline
The storyline is now an attachment to this post in order to save space. If there is ever a time where the attachment is gone, it is taken off by me for any additions/editing with the storywriters.

When it says Rival tells you about gym battles, etc, change it to this:

Prof. Redwood, Character 2 and Rival are waiting for Character, then Prof. Redwood explains to the three of them about battles etc.

The picture of the first route is now updated with directional ledges, less horrible graphics and is now 200% cruncher in milk! ;D
 
Okay is this good?

The game comes into view with you sleeping while light flashes from the TV obviously meaning it’s on.
Then Mom comes up the stairs and walks over to you.
Mom: “(you) what are you doing asleep at this time? Sometime I wonder how you sleep this much.”
Mom walks back downstairs as you wake up. You then have no choice but to go back downstairs because there’s nothing to do. When you arrive downstairs Mom walks over to you.
Mom: “There’s a letter here for you (you). I think it’s from Rival.”
The letter reads: Hey (you). I just got my poketch and I want to show you. So get on over to my house now!
Following the order you walk outside over to Rival’s house. When you arrive you only find Rival’s Mom.
RM: “Oh (you). Rival wanted to show you his new poketch he got but while we were opening the box to it we heard shouts like someone crying for help so he ran off to investigate it. He said it was most likely from the tall grass so you’d be smart to look there.”
You walk over into the grass to spot Prof. Redwood and Rival hiding up in a tree from a Shinx below.
Prof. Redwood: “Hey you! Please help us get away from that Shinx. What’s that? You don’t have any pokemon? You’re just as dumb as this other kid here!”
Rival-“Hey (you). I try helping this guy and all he does is insult me.”
Prof. Redwood: “Look in my briefcase. There should be some pokemon in there. Take one and battle the Shinx!”
You look into the briefcase close t the tree to find the three starters in pokeballs. You choose one like normal then battle the Shinx.
The Shinx is lv 2 and no matter what you do you will win.
Prof. Redwood and Rival climb down from the tree.
Rival: “Thanks (you) who knew that you could battle with pokemon?”
PR: “Yes. You and that ____ worked pretty well together… Perhaps you could be of use.”
Rival: "What do you mean of use?”
PR: “I have a project going on using a device from my friend Prof. Oak. It’s called the Pokedex. It records data of pokemon as you meet ad capture them. Unfortunately I am not as fast and able as I was before so I stay in my lab. Maybe you two could help me?”
Rival: “Hey I’d love to but I need a pokemon.”
PR: “Ah yes. Take this one.”
Prof. Redwood gives Rival the starter that your starter is weak to.
Rival: “Aww. He so cute. We’ll be the best team ever!”
PR: “You should tell your parents about this. You’ll be leaving town for places very far away.”
You head back home and talk o your mom.
Mom: “I see so that’s how it is. Well that’s fine by me. Your father did the same exact thing… It’s great you are too. I know you and (your pokemon) will get along fine. Here these were your father’s.
Mom walks over to a cabinet and returns while giving you the running shoes and the map.
Mom: “The running shoes are helpful on long journeys because it allows you to g faster than you did before and the map allows you to find your way around (region).
Then you walk out and meet with Prof. Redwood at his lab.
You see that Rival is there as well.
Rival: (you), you already got to battle unlike me. I want to show you just how strong I am! Let’s battle!”
Then you start a battle with your rival.
Win, you can head to the next town with rival.
Lose; your mom heals your Pokemon.
Once you win you can head down the path leading onto your journey with Rival already gone and into the grass.
Then you travel through the route to ______ town.
When you arrive you meet with your rival. If you have 3+ caught pokemon he will say, “(you) you already caught some pokemon! But I bet they’re nowhere near as strong as mine.
If you have 2 or less caught pokemon he will say “(you) don’t you know you have to cap
 
Ehh..It's not too bad..I fix it up and when Zyflair get's back, talk about. Well..Let me finish my verson and I'll show you.;)
 
Not to sound mean guys, but if your making your own Pokémon game, don't you think you should make your own custom sprites for characters instead of just recoloring ones that are already made? That would make things more original.
 
Yeah, i aggree.
You need to sprite the characters and pokemon from scratch to give it
your own personal touch.
 
I suggest you two let Flygon know, as I'm not in charge of graphics.

I've updated the storyline, you can get working again, charidude. Oh, and please pm me the dialogue so this thread won't get overloaded.
 
I did. Most of it was incorporated into the storyline (and you might realize that if you read the storyline). TSL and I chose not to do a Double Battle though.

DS Game Cover was been added!

Nice drawing! Only thing is, I have an updated cover, boldened text and the black alongside the "Nintendo DS Wi-Fi" part. Will update!
