Well, I've played lots of the Pokemon RPG games, LeafGreen, Ruby, Pearl, etc. And I've seen other people make DS games like it. Pokemon Acanthite was the best one I've seen that's created.
So now I'm thinking about making my own. Me and my sister are going to make "Pokemon Aquamarine" (the name was her idea). I'll post more details soon if anyone cares.
Right now I need people to sprite Fakemon, sprite existing Pokemon in new poses, and program. Post if you want in on it.
STORYLINE SO FAR:
___ wakes up. He/she walks downstairs to find his/her mother watching TV (something about Prof.Oak, you can make that bit up).
"Good morning ___! I guess today you're going to go to Prof. Pine's, huh?" Mom says.
You get ready to leave for Prof. Pine's lab, and just as you are about to walk out the door, your mom calls you back. "Don't forget your journal! It's upstairs."
So ___ goes back upstairs, collects his/her journal, and then comes back down.
"Goodbye ___. Come back soon!" Your mom says as you walk out the door.
When you go outside, you see a pure black van parked in front of Prof. Pine's lab.
Curious, you go inside to find the place ransacked. There is no sign of the Professor, and you catch a glimpse of two men in dark jumpsuits running away from the building with something.
Suddenly, you hear a thumping sound. It's coming from a closet. So you go open the closet to find Prof. Pine bound and gagged. You get rid of the gag but the ropes are to strong.
"Thank you." The professor says to you. "But to cut the ropes you will need a Pokemon. There's a bag over there that has Pokemon."
The bag is on the floor. There are three pokeballs in the bag. One, the grass type Seeling, two, the fire type Regite, and three, the water type ___. Pick one and then go back to the Professor and try to cut the ropes with your Pokemon. It doesn't work.
"You need to find Cut... quickly..." Pine blacked out.
(The character gets a "?" over his head)
So you look around the room, eventually finding HM01-Cut sticking out from under a desk.
Then, another character walks into the lab (soon to be rival). "Woah! What happened? Did you hurt Prof. Pine? Who are you?"
You explain. "..."
"Oh. We have to get Pine to a doctor or something. Hey what's that?" He sees the HM. "Whoa, that's an HM, cool! Do you know how to use those? You don't? Let me show you."
It shows an example of using it in your bag.
So you teach cut to your starter Pokemon and then cut Pine's ropes. Your rival takes Pine away and you are left alone in the lab.
