'Pokemon Bank' Goes Live in North America! [2/5]

FINALLY.

I'm not a fan of how long it takes to transfer Pokemon. I'm almost an hour and a half in and I still haven't transferred all my Pokemon from White.

Oh well. I'm just happy we finally have it!
 
It's also kinda funny because once I transfer all my Pokes over, I'm most likely never going to use Bank again (at least for this gen) :p
 
The people who use it most will be breeders, because storage space is a large problem for them. Darn eggs take up too much space mang.

Wow, this is wonderful.

I can finally get rid of my copies of White 2 and SoulSilver (before anyone says anything, I KNOW you can't use it with Bank; I need to transfer some Unowns up)
 
Looks like the "haha poke on US" already happened here too. *rolls eyes* let's not even get started on the early launch of XY at certain retailers and the better reservation gifts you all got. The US gets a crummy 2 sided poster and you all got a Pokeball storage thing to hold carts, Stater t-shirts etc. (unless for the shirts Im thinking Mexico or something @.@) at any rate, I found it a bit unacceptable to put us behind-just because we're hosting Worlds at the nations capital does not mean NoA gets a free PR pass on this one. The lack of communication was disheartening, and Im not so much bothered by the staggered re-release (or well release) of bank as much as the lack of communication. Id rather see on Twitter more than the 3-4 meager updates they did give buried between Bravely Default, Luigi Perspective and random trivias/updates tweets :/ but that's just me XD

This is amazing, but how do you select the options to select multiple Pokemon that are at the top of the screen?

EDIT: Never mind, just had to press Start!

It's not our fault your game stores are too scared to sell it early.
Generally, you're always better off. We get that treatment most of the time and we've never hosted worlds. I'd be happy if we did, I could go to grinders.
 
Wow, so many people are so entitled. I must get free stuff with my games, I must get an extra month tacked onto the free trial! Muh muhneez worth!
 
About time NA got it. I don't quite like how the transfer process works (it's very time consuming and having to reserve Box 1 on your 5th gen games for transfers is annoying), but at least I can finally do it.
 
Well.... I'm not that happy, because I don't have any gen 5 game (I stopped playing and returned this gen), I will have to rent it or to lend it.

EDIT: For those people that don't read the instructions before using something well:
(My 3DS is in Spanish so the translation won't be as it is written there)
IMPORTANT:


"You won't be able to transfer Pokémon that were made by using inappropriate methods. If you use the PokéBank and the Poké (insert name for the gen 5 thing) for transferring Pokémon that were created by using inappropriate methods not recognized by Nintendo or it's (insert word for "allies"), you will lose the right to use either the PokéBank or the Poké (Traslador?) or both"

That's what I found while reading the instructions.
 
Glad Bank is finally out! Time-consuming, for sure, but worth it to transfer over all the Pokemon from previous versions. I really hope they patch Bank so that you can move boxes besides Box 1!

I look forward to battling with my Pearl-version Pokemon (I didn't play White too much) and Wonder Trading away all the Pokemon I don't really need that I transferred over anyway!

Me too, I've caught lots of Pokemon since January for my X/Y living dex but you can catch most of the Pokedex by Kalos and the Friend Safari alone so I have a lot of fully evolved extras.

I have to wonder (word choice not intended =P) how many people will use Bank after the trial period is up. I figure there'll be a good chunk of people, but I don't think everyone will need it.

At least Celebi won't be a rare Pokemon anymore! :) Is Celebi a preset nature, or is it random?
