RE: Best Wishes Episodes
No he had a Fire/Fighting type last season. Plus i really don't see Ash with them. Also here's the episode 5 summary sorry it's late.
The episode starts with Ash standing in the middle of a dirt road that is heading towards Sanyo City. So now ash is exited and he starts to run.
After the opening theme, Ash has arrived in Sanyo and he wants to challenge the Gym. Iris comes behind Ash surprising him and ask him if he even knows where the gym is and he doesn’t. Then a guy named Dento walks and notices Iris’s Kibago in her hair. He said that he is a sommelier and that he can see the bonds between the trainers and there Pokemon. So he states that Iris and Kibago are perfect traveling partners. Dento then notices Ash with Pikachu and Dento picks Pikachu up saying that it’s rare. Ash introduces himself and Ash asks if Dento can see Himself and Pikachu’s connection, but iris tells Ash that he came here for a gym battle and Ash asks Dento where it is. Dento leads ash to the gym. Ash opens the doors and notices that it’s a cafe. Dento sits Iris and Ash down on their date(Joking) and Dento and his brothers bombard Ash with selections from their Cafe. The fangirls at a different table call ash a dork and Ash screams out and asks for a Gym battle. Ash starts to walk out but the brothers reveal that behind the wall at the back of cafe is the Sanyo gym. Dento tells Ash that him and his brothers, Corn and Pod are all the gym leaders of this gym. So now Ash has to choose which brother to battle and Ash chooses all of them. So if ash wins 2 out of three battles he can win the badge. So now it’s ash against Pod and his Pokemon Baoppu the fire Monkey. Ash chooses Pokabu instead off Mijumaru because Ash already planned that he would use Pokabu first.
Ash commands for Pokabu to use tackle and that attack sends Baoppu flying, but Baoppu lands and uses Fire punch which sends Pokabu flying then falling into the ground. Baoppu fires a flamethrower and Pokabu fires an ember attack and the Flamethrower destroys the ember and it hits Pokabu. Baoppu used dig and sends Pokabu flying and falling again. Pokabu starts to run but Baoppu comes out of the ground and hurst Pokabu again. Then Pokabu dives down in the air and goes into the hole in the ground below. The two Fire Pokemon keep jumping in and out of the hole with Pokabu biting onto Baoppu’s tail. Then Baoppu throws Pokabu down and Pokabu does the same thing whilst still biting onto it’s tail. Then Pokabu uses Ember and finishes Baoppu off by tackling it into the gym’s back wall.
Pod returns Baoppu and now it’s Corn against Ash. Team Rocket are walking through town and are heading towards the spot that Giovanni told them to head to. Corn sends out Hiyappu and Pikachu is Ash’s next Pokemon. Pikachu uses Quick attack and Hiyappu used Double team and Pikachu misses. Corn tells Hiyappu to use Slash and it hits Pikachu. Pikachu tries to use Thunder bolt but Hiyappu fires a water gun at Pikachu’s feet and Pikachu keeps dodging until it finally hits. Then Pikachu keeps getting hit with multiple slash attacks. Ash has one last shot by using Volt tackle but Corn thinks of a way to stop it so Hiyappu used Mud sport which reduces electric type move’s power and it also send Pikachu flying back. Then Hiyappu fires a water gun and it knocks out Pikachu. Corn recalls Hiyappu and Ash tells Pikachu it did a great job.
Under ground i think in a sewer Team rocket are communicating with Giovanni via a video message on a laptop. Giovanni tells them that the “Future energy” at the site of dreams has the power to turn dreams into reality so I'm guessing Giovanni wants that energy to gather powerful Pokemon. Team rocket repeat their goals aloud to Giovanni and then they leave after the transmission is ended.
Now it’s time for Dento against Yanappu. Ash’s sends out Mijumaru and Iris says that Mamepeto would have been a better choice. Mijumaru is standing and then opens it eyes and realizes that it has to battle Yanappu, i think because Yanappu has a type advantage. Mijumaru then hides behind Ash and Ash and Pikachu push Mijumaru on the field and Ash gives its confidence back by reminding it of how it saved Pikachu and Kibago from team rocket. Ash tells Mijumaru to use tackle and Mijumaru charges but Yanappu slightly doges and Mijumaru keeps on running and almost falls over but stands still instead.
Yanappu fires bullet seeds and Mijumaru runs away making the bullet seeds hit Mijumaru’s “Butterfree” (XD). Yanappu then latches onto Mijumaru’s head by using bite. Mijumaru runs around and runs into a rock. Yanappu jumps off and Mijumaru keeps firing bursts of Water guns which miss Yanappu but it tires itself out. Ash tells Mijumaru to aim carefully and Mijumaru keeps firing until it actually hits Yanappu in the air. Them Dento says that it’s not over and Yanappu charges then fires a Powerful Solar-beam. Mijumaru is left scared and stays still.
