Pokemon: Black and White English Episodes

I just started watching pokemon again so im watching all the black and white episodes they have made so far and i hate how in every new sereis they make pikachu look like the weakest pokemon i mean seriously he lost to a panpour while fighting the trio

If based by levels, pikachu should be lv.100. Like he got a level reset, and Ash got stupider.

Much facedesking...

As has been stated many many times, levels have no impact on the anime. Pikachu needs to appear weak at the beginning of a series, so it can be seen to visibly improve by the end of the arc, and destroy everything at the league.

(See also Archen evolving within hours of being ressurected from a fossil. Or a classical example, Charizard evolving within a few episodes of evolving into Charmeleon.)

true and i was quite impressed when he learned electro ball and i am glad pidove evolved because he was pretty weak as a pidove but tranquil impressed me but pikachu has 5 moves now volt tackle, electro ball, thunder bolt, quick attack, and iron tail

Incorrect, again. Sigh.

Pokémon can only know four moves at once in the games, this holds true for the anime. Pikachu no longer knows Volt Tackle, the same way it no longer knows Thunder, Tackle, and many other moves.

Oh well that stinks I wish it still had volt tackle and lost quik attack instead but what do you mean incorrect again

Well, it isn't confirmed that it no longer knows Volt Tackle, it could not know it anymore, but Pokemon have shown to have known more than 4, remember Paul's Electivire, it had Brick Break as one of it's 4 moves at the start, it then learnt two more moves, it then used the two new moves along with two old moves (None of which were Brick Break) against Barry. Then against Ash, it had Brick Break, thus proving that Electivire had at least 5 moves. So here's hoping Pikachu still has Volt Tackle, or it learns Wild Charge instead. Anyway, I'm glad it's using Electro Ball again, it is it's new move after all, but it shouldn't spam it.

I enjoyed episode 21 in the dubbed version very well, just like I did in the original version.

Meh, there's nothing against relearning moves. Flint's Infy knew an obscene amount of moves for relatively few appearances.

New English Titles....
BW27:Emolga The Irresistible! - July 16, 2011
BW28:Emolga And The New Volt Switch! - July 23, 2011

Watched BW22.....Really good episode...
I noticed at the end when the narrator was talking he said that while Professor Juniper Investigates the energy source in the Desort Resort, They said that Ash will focus on the Venipede and his Gym Battle...They probably had the narrator say that knowing those 2 following episodes wouldn't be airing right now.....They want the viewers to look towards his Gym Battle and not what's going on with the energy source.....

Just watched the Venipede episode yesterday, and I'm not really liking how Ash really sounds feminine. And these conversations just keep getting cheesier about love and friendship. Let's be honest...I think Ash better become a priest or something.

I guess the meteorite has turned into another GS Ball plot, dumped and never resolved, as personally, I think the anime headed in a completely different direction after Castelia, with Team Rocket going back to the white uniforms for no clear reason, and returning to their old ways of stealing peoples Pokemon rather than finding out just what the heck the meteorite does.

I think that they will air it like after they air the Icirrus Gym Battle, so it will turn into a plot climax like the Team Galactic finale.

Now, comparing the early part of DP and the early part of BW, I definitely liked DP more. Though today's DP episode (they air on CN at 8am on the weekdays), DP11 Not on MY Watch Ya Don't was not amazing, the rest of them were pretty good. Ash's voice was much more masculine (now, I wouldn't have guessed he was a boy) and Team Rocket was actually funny. Also to me, Trip is an exact copy of
Paul. So DP is much better in my opinion.

^Well, you're entitled to your opinion, even if it is clearly wrong.

RE the Plasma/meteolite stuff, it's reasonable to assume that at some point it'll re-appear. I mean, they're the villainous team for this reason, we can't not see them...

And yes, they did a very good job of editing the end of the last episode. I watched it in Japanese way back when, and Ash et al originally argued to go with. But that bit was so neatly chopped out that I didn't even realise it had gone until the episode had ended.

What about Looker? Wasn't he supposed to appear in those episodes? Maybe he'll appear later on in the anime...
Watched BW25 today and it was a good episode...Like Always :D
The way Pikachu did Electro Ball at the end of their Gym Battle was awesome!
And Team Rocket are going back to their old ways....Haha

New English Title! :D
BW29: Scare at the Litwick Mansion!

I'm kind of disappointed that in the recent episode, Team Rocket is going back to their useless and never ending scheme to capture Pikachu. This ambition has been the same for so long now that it starts to get quite old and boring. Up until now, I thought that Team Rocket wasn't going to be lame anymore and they were going to actually do something (because of all the successful secret missions they've been doing); but I guess not... :headbang

Actually if you watched the Japanese version, they have the white uniforms, but they keep their skill and lately, it looks like they are planning something big.

They were skipped in japan and in the USA as well, they wont be airing in the dub until we have conformation on the japanese airing of the episodes.

I watched the Emolga episode in the dub recently and I'm annoyed that it kept it's japanese voice, but oh well.
