BW/BW2 Pokemon can follow you!

On the Celebi and Zorua page, one of the screenshots appears to show Celebi behind the player. This probably confirms that you can have your Pokemon walking behind you again, like in HeartGold and SoulSilver, unless the Celebi is just being used as an overworld sprite.

They most likely didn't show it before because they didn't want to show any new Pokemon yet. With Celebi being the first old one shown in-game, they could feel free, I suppose.

Yeah.

I think it is though, because in the video of the player walking through the city, there was no pokemon following.

This could mean 1 or 2 things:

It's optional if your pokemon can follow you
or
Your pokemon can't follow you at all, and those are just random pokemon standing around.

I hope it's the first.

While I don't think this confirms anything, as this might just be part of an event, it does give me some hope. I do hope partner Pokemon return, but they should be optional, and I agree that it should be any Pokemon on your team, not just your first one in your party.

But, did you notice that in the videos from pokemon sunday the trainer that was walking around had no pokemon behind him?
Maybe you can choose to have your pokemon to follow you, or not.

But I gotta admit, that would be fun if the Pokemon could walk around with you just like HG/SS.
