I gotta say those are impressive pictures... I feel lousy that I plan to attend my local promo tour wearing a lucario hat only, and not a full fledged costume xD

For my first Pokemon cosplay (I've done costumes at other conventions) I'm doing a Team Rocket Grunt and Brock from FRLG. Making the vest from scratch and I ordered the Team Rocket Shirt off Sanshee. It's going to be awesome being a rocket grunt for the Arizona Matsuri.
 
Today was katsucon, and i was going to cosplay as Cress, but i didnt get to go... My friend did and she has been sending me pics of katsucon!!! :D
 
At the Black and White tour on the 19th of February there was a cute girl who cosplayed the playable character from Black and White

I love this.
I made and wore a Claydol costume to a halloween prerelease and won the costume contest. (3 packs!)
 
Smeargle giinka? Sounds cool! May try it out. Athough I have no talent in creating clothing and will probably never get to learning how to do so.

I may try out a giinka or two if I gain some more fabrics, but probably not. I really love all Cubone cosplays, because the masks that people come up with are so intricate.


Unfortunately, they also appear a bit innaporpiate.
 
I haven't done much in a long time, but next con I do, if I have the time I have plans for a skin-and-paint anthro Vaporeon rockin' some orange swim trunks. Should be fun, hope I run into some of the cute girls from this thread. @Ubergal, your Kotone outfit is EPIC, all you rly need is the bag and you're set.
 
Oh, I was looking up things for Poke'mon Cosplay to find my Shaymin outfit here. I'm very glad you guys liked it :)

I will be going as N to Portcon if anyone is going there, already bought my fabric for him <3
 
I now find myself in Southern Ontario so I'll probably be at Anime North making it sexy. I know there are some other pokemon cosplayers coming, I think we'll have a great time.
 
I saw some Pokémon cosplayers today at Phoenix Comic Con. A vaporeon and a shaymin. The Shaymin was slightly...too unfit for the costume... and the vaporeon was a furry-based mask and scared me.

I love gijinkas and fursuit Pokemon cosplays. They're perhaps the best ones out there.

After Anime North I REALLY felt Pokemon cosplay was way too repetitive and un-original. In terms of humans anyway. Gijinkas and Pokemon are always different and I like it. I cosplayed as Black but so did tons of others, made me feel un-original and un-unique.

Taking it as a lesson to myself to not cosplay human characters ever again. There's just no point of being original if everyone else is doing it.
