Hey everyone, I'm posting today with some VERY interesting bits of pokemon history, information and theorys. I'll warn you now IF YOU ARE UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE, TAKE EXTREME CAUTION LISTENING TO THE LAVENDER TOWN THEME.

Also SPOILER ALERT regarding Black and White.

So firstly, a few intersting pics explaining pokemon possiblities:

Wobbuffet:

Gengar

Crazy hey? I'll post more soon.

Next, the coma theory for the anime, this
is a LONG read, but well worth it.

http://pokmonx.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=340

Now for this next one, there is a theory that the original
Lavender Town theme, was created using binaural beats, to make
an impact on children playing the game.

If you are under 16, these sounds can cause headaches, nausea, feelings of sadness and sicknes.
It's not my fault if you choose to listen, and then feel any negative effects.

It also also known that whilst in the Ghost Tower, single frames depicting ghost, faces, skulls and bodies were included, in order to create a subconcious effect of sadness and fear, to children playing the games.

The link to the full report, theory, evidence and the videos of Lavender Town including the theme tune, is here:

And lastly for now, a theory regarding Pokemon Black and White.

SPOILERS! IF YOU READ AND FLAME, I'M NOT GONNA BE HAPPY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Highlight the text to read it:
So, now the character of 'N' has been revealed, there are some interesting similarities between him and Zoroark.

N says he wants to split humans and pokemon.
He calls pokemon his 'friends'.
He and Zoroark have VERY similar hair.
Zoroark has been theorised to be able to shape shift.

So where is this going? N IS ZOROARK?

Turn an 'N' sideways -> Z

Just a theory, but very possible!

Well that's all for now, I'll update this with more soon.

Too many caps, dude. Take most of them out.

dmaster out.

Thought it didn't matter, aslong as titles and posts were not 100% Caps, within reason of course. I'd say my use of caps is well within reason, it highlights very important areas.

It's not. 75% is in Caps and it looks like you're yelling. Maybe one time at the top of the page but nowhere else.

dmaster out.

interesting thoughts,we will have to wait till BW arrives tho...

This was painful to read. Not because of the information... no no... because of the formatting. I highly recommend actually work to make your post look good. Next, this isn't TCG at all.

As for binaural beats, these are what I know. They rarely create a negative effect. I can't measure this, but I doubt the beats in Lavander town are more than Beta beats. Those who hear Beta beats and react to them so negatively will react to many other things as well. Those types of people are often susceptable to migrains on a regular basis. The LTT (as we'll call it) could have been the catalyst, but not the cause. It would have popped up in the kids who did hurt their brain from the music (I don't have many good words to describe it). You're argument about the binaural beats trying to instill subconscious fear... well yeah duh. Isn't that the point of music in video games? To add to tone? If suicide is the problem... just wow. If this city made kids kill themselves, how was it not noticed before? Wouldn't the problem come up in sad movies? I would put the blame on the parents for allowing kids to kill themselves... The town should have no blame put upon it.

As for the bit on N and Zoroark, that wouldn't surprise me. We've seen "parters" in the past. Look at the girls from Pokemon Heroes and Latios and Latias. I think it was Latias that even transformed into them... I wouldn't be surprised to see N and Zoroark as partners in the show. Why is that blip in white? That's hard to read and just annoying...

That Lavender town music made me feel just...gross... It's horrible.

I like the theory about Wobbufett, I never thought about it that way.

I don't agree with the Gengar or Coma thing.

Zoroark... it's possible.

Sorry about the formatting, I put the thread together in a hurry, so I'll sort it out soon enough.

As for the info on zoroark, its in white so people wishing to not be informed of the possible spoiler don't have to scroll past it to read comments here. Having it in white means that only the people that want to read it will select it.

And finally for binaural beats, there ARE some that can produce negative effects, such as fear and sadness. Me and some friends have listened to alot of iDoser sounds, and certain ones, such as Gates Of Hades, made those that listened to it extremely cautious and scared of our surroundings.
Furthermore, listening to loud sounds or extremes of pitch through headphones can give you a very bad headache which can easily lead to feelings of nausea. It's also possible that the negative effects caused by the binaural beats, mostly fear, would create feelings of sickness.

You may be wrong about your Zoroark and N theory. Zoroark is the Japanese name, What if the English starts with another letter? But you've got a point on the hair and shapeshifty thing

Some of you guys need to read the whole article on the Lavender Town Syndrome. ;)

Too bad they didn't include any of the images that were supposed to have been programmed into the game...or the original version of the music, for that matter.

The guy who wrote the coma theory barely watched Pokemon I bet. He thought Geovanni is Ash's dad.

I laughed so long when I seen this! Who would think Geovanni is Ash's dad
HAHAHA!:D

I liked the Lavender town music. It was spooky lol.

I dont think he is literally saying Geovanni is his dad, he just represents Ash's dad in his coma induced dream.

so I just got done reading that EXTREAMELY long article and thought it was amazing. I'm listening to the lavender town theme just for fun. it does make me feel fear and a tiny bit of sadness. I'm alone at my house. I'm a little freaked but it's fun XD

I think that the whole coma thing was stupid. It's a kid's tv show. It doesn't need all this thought and drama. Then, it wouldn't even be pokemon at all.

I liked it because it put a more chaotic/realistic idea to it. I mean, the pokemon world seems so perfect and is very unrealistic. I know it's a cartoon, but I like the idea.
