Spent most of my day working on the demo, and it's almost completed.
 
Sorry for the delay in reply but by template's do you mean spriting the pokemon in that same pattern, because i cannot really do that :(, but i can still make banners and such...

I have returned from Band Camp! Here is one template, which will also go on the forums.
 
I'm kinda late, but...
I think this looks pretty cool! The sprites don't exactly match the style of the "official" GBA sprites, but if you're going to redo the old pokemon sprites to make them match yours, or vice versa, the sprites are perfect!
Also, I see you're using what appears to be RPG Maker XP?
When you do screenshots of the entire map, you should take it off Event mode, so the grid doesn't obscure any of the map. :)
 
Personally, I am trying to make the sprites similar style to GBA ones, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take a closer look at the 3rd gen sprites. Also, there is a lot more sprites on our storage forum, www.pokemoniceversion.proboards.com, if you want to view them.
 
@patrick329: Thanks for the templates. I will spend most of my time (after posting the demo), working on getting all the templates to work and will add all the sprites to the game.

@Paper PokeMaster: I know they don't, but I won't be changing the style of the old Pokemon since that would take way to long. The reason that I do it in event mode is because you can view the map including all the tiles within it. If I pick layer 3, some tiles will stand out more than other parts (since some tiles are located in layers 1 and 2).

I have recently made changes to Icelet Town, Route 1, and Route 2. I am finishing up trainer battles and they will be completed by tonight. When playtesting I have come across some parts of the map that are impossible to escape. I will be covering those parts so nobody falls in and won't need to restart the game from a previous point.
 
@Ice Arceus ,The over world looks too small when it's in the game. Can you attach the sprite sheet for the main character? You don't have to though, I just want to use that sprite as kind of a template.
