Pokemon Ice Version

@Ice Arceus, I have lost the paper but i will have some good ones that i scanned in very soon.
 
@ramsey1993: I don't know about the ghost/grass type.

@silazu: The fakemon looks perfect.

@mpain0: All right. Just be sure to PM me the scans of the fakemon, it'll be less cluttering on this thread.

Should have the updated version of Wintibir Town and Route 3 up later today.
 
D': So sad that it isn't a mon. I really liked it... oh well it will go into my sprite collection. I guess I'll sprite the bush. I have a great idea for it.

Also, was that sprite any better or closer to Silazu's style than my others?
 
I loveeeeee Silazu's style, its amazing! It was close, you might have to touchup on it a little bit, other than that it looked really good
 
To tell you the truth I am not too interested in the bush Pokemon. :\
Unless more features are added.

I won't have computer access for a couple of hours so I won't be able to upload Route 3 today (which was planned to be revealed today). I will upload it as soon as possible with new game information.

How's this? I had already begun sprucing it up. (ehem) It's fine if you don't like it. I think if it passes though this one should be edited by Silazu some.
 
I think theres should be more vines to further more show its a grass type and maybe make the "haze" a light purple color? so ppl dont think its a grass/fire type, other than that, i love the concept!
 
4 or 5 more fakemon for the game?
:) I have a few ideas i'd like to add in. ^^
I've been trying to draw a darn ostrich, making it a dark/flying type... xD
But I can't seem to be able to draw it and then I get frustrated. But i'll keep trying...
Another one I wanted to draw is a normal type, based off of a gazelle or some other goat/deer-like animal found in Africa.
And lastly, another idea I wanted to do was make a grass/steel type based off of an echidna of Australia.. or maybe a hedgehog.
 
@patrick329: I can't seem to find the starter Pokemon templates on the ice forums.... Did you put them in the partially completed templates forum?

@Garitter: Nice ideas. I like them.

If all goes well then I should have all the starter Pokemon uploaded into the game, which means there is a possibility that they might make an appearance in the demo.

Also I am finishing up Route 3, so it should be posted soon.

@silazu: Thanks for the templates. Okay so far we have the front part of Iripus and the back sprite. We will need the shiny version and the shiny back version of it.
A Pokémon species has one of each of the following (or more, if it has multiple forms):

A 128x64 two frame icon, used in the party screen and in the PC Pokémon storage screen.
Four battle sprites, used in a variety of places in-game:
Front normal.
Rear normal.
Front shiny.
Rear shiny.

I have added Iripus in with its back sprite into the Pokemon database. I should have the rest of the starters in with the other Pokemon soon. I will post some dex screenshots later if they end up working.
 
I will go ahead and do the shiny version for the Raxiol, since Garitter is doing the shiny version of Iripus.
 
@Garitter: Okay, thanks.

@silazu: I forgot to mention this but it seems like we will need icons for the Pokemon as well. The dimensions are 64x64. This must be the reason that the game isn't executing well.
 
Ok I will give the icons a try. I've never done icons before so I'm not really sure how to go about doing them, do they need to be animated, is there a format I need to follow like when I did the over world sprites.

Instead of Platorus, i changed the last evolution's name to Platoreed. If you don't like it, then it can stay Platorus. :)
