Yep, I got one of those. I have the original one too.

I forgot about it until now, but the spinner for the Hoenn one is terrible. The cardboard for it gets easily bent and warped (thus making it point to some things more often than others), and the plastic spinner sometimes gets stuck on the peg in the middle. Heck, I don't like spinners to begin with. Give me dice. The Kanto one had dice. What, did they think the kids are going to choke swallowing the dice? Adults used to do it all the time.
 
I have the first one which i bought at a garage sale for 2 bucks... It is in good condition. I also have generation four which i probably played hmmm.... Once:F
 
A friend of mine has the Kanto one. Beat the game with Flareon. <3
 
The Kanto one is just amazing fun and extremely nostalgic for me as I had the game at an age when I was too young to fully comprehend the game, and I hardly remember it as well. However, I played it at a friend's house not too long ago and I was in love again, and just last New Year's Eve I played the Hoenn one. It was alright, but not nearly as good as the original. I would like to try the Johto edition someday.
 
Oh my god...I love....I LOVE MY FRIENDS. Ok so yesterday my friend said he was coming over. So he comes to my house with another person and he brought....POKEMON MASTER TRAINER GEN 1!! I was excited....we played it about 8 times until he had to go xD. I asked him where he got it and he said he found it in his closet randomly....I may have to kill him now to get it for myself I mean whaaaaaaaa I wouldn't do that.
 
I still keep mine under my bed. Sure it's collecting dust since I don't ever have a chance to play it, but still, it's got all the pieces. No, seriously, it's got ALL the pieces.

Seeing this topic and the new posts therein is making me nostalgic to play this game now! You guys...you guys ;P
 
My cousin had 1st gen game then he gave it to my other cousin because we found it in his basement. We played it and thoght it was fun, so now we play it a lot. Does anyone know where I could get one of the other ones?
