Pokemon Opal Version & Pokemon Amber Version

Ok, here is a way to open the game.

The game starts with the usual professor scene. After that, the player wakes up in his/her bed due to a loud thumping noise. Player rushes downstairs to make sure their mother is alright. The house's TV has fallen on her. "Help, Player," Mom cried out. "Go see Professor Cedar.(according to your screenshot) She might have a Pokemon that could help!" Player goes to Cedar's lab noticing a mysterious figure setting up something in the corner of the town. If you talk to him he'll say, "Go away, this is no buisness for a kid." Upon entering the lab, Professor Cedar runs up to you and says, "Grab a Pokemon and run, kid! Team Death is up to something! We've got to get out of here!" You reply," But I have to help my mother!" "There's no time for that." Cedar argues. We'll have time to save your mother later." She then hastily exists.
You then get to pick your starter Pokemon. When you've got it, you go outside. The mysterious figure and Professor Cedar are facing each other. "You shouldn't be here Maxwell" Cedar announces. "Go back to where you came from." "You think I will," questions Maxwell. "No, it's much bigger than you think. (Name of legend), show this fool what she's up against!" Then a Dark-typed legendary appears. It howls, and dark beams start shooting from it. Then it all goes white.

So what do you think? Did I do good with a beginning?

EDIT: Since the game is in the underworld, a lot of Pokemon should be based on Mythology. Just a thought.

The version legendaries shall be up later. They will be:
OPAL - Water/Dark - Hydkat (hydro + cat misspelled)
AMBER - Fire/Dark - Quetark (Quetzalcoatl + dark)
 
Thanks, and you're right about the mythology.

I'm gonna make a roaming Legendary duo based off of the Greek Gods twins Artemis and Apollo.

Since Apollo is based off the Sun, his Legendary Apolline (Apollo + feline) will be in Amber. I feel a large wildcat fits him best, being the counterpart to Artemis's wolf

Since Artemis is based off the Moon, her Legendary Canimis (canine + Artemis) will be in Opal. Based off of a wolf because that's basically her animal.
 
Here is a random pokemon that I made and I call him boomer the random explosions pokemon. You don't have to use him if you don't like him so without further ado her is Boomer!

After whiting out, you find yourself lying on a beach. A female trainer about your age is walking near you. When she notices you, she runs over and says,"Oh my goodness. Are you alright?" "I guess so," you reply.” Where am I?" "You're at (blank) beach in the Monovo region,” she answers. "Where's tha..." you start, but she interrupts," Hey, is that a pokeball? You must be a Pokemon trainer. Let's battle!" Then you battle. She has the starter super-effective to you own. (So I guess she would be called your rival) If you win she'll say: "Wow, you're tough!" If you lose she says: "I can tell that you're a rookie." After the battle she says, "Maybe Gramps will know what to do with you. Follow me to (blank) town." Then she dashes off, dropping a diary. When you pick it up it'll say "Property of (blank). No peeking! Then you get to name her.

Go the direction she went. You'll reach a small town, similar to your own. She'll be standing in front of one of the houses. Talk to her, and she'll say,” I think I dropped my diary. Did you find it?" If you picked it up you'll respond, "Yep, you dropped it at the beach." She'll respond,” Thank you for finding it! Wait a minute. What was you name again? Was it Chuck Norris?" "Nope," you'll answer. " It's (player). By the way, where is this region? Last I remember I was in the (blank) region." "Oh so that's where you're from," she'll inquire.” Ask my Grandpa, he might answer some of your questions." Then you enter into the house.

How's that? Not as exciting as part 1, but it was the best I could do.
