Hello dear pokelovers,
Me and my friend are developing a Pokemon game, but can't figure out which console to design it for.
This is the idea:
Pokemon: Power League™
Pokemon: Power League™
Pokemon: Power League™ is a game that takes the world of Pokemon™ to a whole new level. Instead of the normal 2-d battles that are turn-based, Pokemon: Power League™ creates a virtual battling arena, offering the playing a very increased amount of control over the actions. Imagine, you controlling a pokemon to sprint over the length of the arena, really dodging incoming attacks and finally unleashing an attack. That is what Pokemon: Power League™ is all about.
What is the innovating aspect of the game?
The innovating aspect of this game is the fact the all renowned aspect; the 2-d graphics, the turn-based battle system, etc. are not applied in this game, causing the Pokemon™ Industry to be shed in a whole new daylight, causing the hardcore fans to stick and attracting welcome newcomers. The attraction is that it creates a new dimension of gameplay. The dimension of reaction. The anime that so many people still cherish was never in sync with the video games, who delivered a different kind of battling. This game will almost exactly follow those visual ideas.
What will stay the same?
The old core that the Pokemon™ Industry has used and that the fans have come to love over time will still be in Pokemon: Power League™. The attacks, abilities and of course the pokemon are still very much valued. Also, the form of storytelling and outer-battle gameplay is in a way related to Pokemon Colloseum™ and Pokemon XD™.
What will be the target crowd?
The target crowd is the older layer of the Pokemon™ fan base. Many people latched onto the franchise when the anime came out and fortunately a lot have stuck with the series, creating a solid layer of older costumers. This creates a solid basis to create a game targeted at older users. This is also a generation that is fully aware of the technological developments, so conceptual changes like this will merge more easily into these times of progressive technological changes.
Shall we design it for the Wii U? or for the 3DS?
Thanks for Support!
