Why not pick blue! What makes red rarer? A lot of people like charizard. Pesonally I prefer squirtle, even over blastoise. But also people just prefer red.

I have Red, Yellow, two copies of Blue, Gold, and two copies of Silver.

Red is more valuable then blue just infact because of charizard.Blatoise was really neglected back then <.< *tears up*

I saw a CNN article about expensive NES and ATARI games. Some of them cost 10,000 dollars, I kid you not, so that's no surprise to me.
PS I currently think Charizard is cooler than Blastoise, only because I have a shiny BellyZard XD

200 bucks for a Pokemon game....wow.
Well I would say the reason that its that exspensive is because its old and a collecters item.

I think it deserves it that (kind)of game made a lot of kids happy and like said before Collectors item and stuuf.
And yeah Charizard is much more cooler than Blastoise(Hopw WPM doesnt see this):p

It is because they are now collectors items. Maybe there are more copies of blue ? The prices on amazon are also extremely high !:O

There are more copies of Blue out there because, as I said, Charizard is on the cover of Red. Charizard is way more popular than Blastoise, so it stands to reason that Red would be harder to find than Blue.
