That was the first place that came to my mind after I saw the pic with the building and the square... It's the most famous casino in Monte Carlo (left) and a super luxurious hotel (right)... Monte Carlo is in Europe in Monaco... And really close to France, just like Johto was to Kanto... just saying...

Welp, they gave us next to nothing. It's gonna be a long ~10 months ahead...

The most interesting thing to me is the RBY compatibility (and RBY's lack of Gen 6 compatibility). To me this hints the .pkm files are in a Gen 7 format, thus being incompatible with Gen 6 (otherwise they'd have let us transfer to Gen 6, or just not let us transfer altogether). Perhaps, then, someone could crack the 3DS RBY game files soon enough and reveal a host of new abilities or new mechanics hidden there that are making the transfer straight to Gen 7 possible.

You know, the whole Bank thing then is getting pretty complex haha. I hope Gen 7 manages to unify all pkm files into a format that somehow can keep being used from now on (or at least for the next few gens).

They specifically said you can transfer them to Sun & Moon. If we could transfer them to XY/ORAS, I'm sure they would have mentioned it. When you want to transfer something from ORAS to XY, if your Rayquaza from ORAS knows Dragon Ascent, you may send it to PokéBank, but you can't send it from PokéBank to XY. Same thing here. You will transfer you RBY Pokémon to PokéBank but then you will only be transfer to send them to S/M.
 
Oh good heavens... Imagine if you can only transfer from RBY to SM because SM is ultra-simplified like RBY... :(

I'm so confused about the release date . Can someone make things clear . Because some said holiday mean July , while some said holiday mean December(Christmas) . I want a true definition of HOLIDAY 2016 ... LOL

The holidays are around November and December, though moreso December.

Oh , Thank you so much . Because if you said holiday in my country . All of people in my country will thinking about April or October or New Year Festival . LOL
 
What a nice Direct! It was very nostalgic to look back through all the generations. Even though we learned very little new information, it was wonderful to watch.
 
I'm pretty hyped about the releases in Chinese. I'm very doubtful but if there's anyone reading this in Beijing, hit me up!

If you look carefully along the black bar on the back of the ute, you'll see hands holding on to it. Machamp has its top set of arms crossed, and its bottom set grabbing onto the ute.

And WPM, about the 'unfinished' concept art - why would they waste production time adding more features than they need to their concept art? That's like doing oil paintings as your movie storyboards!

I saw a press release on this site saying IVs were going away, as well as abilities, and the steel, dark and fairy type.

Here is a different screenshot of the wireframe bird Pokemon model. It looks like a baby cardinal with a huge head.
 
I'm really intrigued by the Sun and Moon games as well as the PokeBank compatibility with the Gen I VC games. I wasn't expecting the PokeBank to be compatible with the R/B/Y VC games, so I was surprised by that.
