Hiyas, I've been working on this for a while, and, for my end of semester project in January, I have to make a story. I decided to make this one! Yes, I'll be making all these chapter's.

Intro:

It all began 100 years ago… when the Trainers and the Ranger’s lived in peace, and harmony. The trainers battled for badges, to compete in Pokemon leagues, while the Ranger’s battled for Ranger Ranks, and to help Pokemon and people. There was always a ranger leader, and, 100 years ago, his name was Flint. He was a great ranger leader, however, as time grew, he craved, and craved more power. Eventually, he took over every ranger, and took their Pokemon. After that, he still craved more.

There were no more ranger’s left, so he turned to the Trainers, who had more Pokemon than he could imagine. He began to gather up minions to ambush the trainers, and take all their Pokemon. Some were left to die, others were prisoners, and so, the Ranger’s began to rule the planet. They were now called, the “Dark Ranger’s”

Few trainers survived, but, the few that DID, fled to the other side of the world, in Sinnoh, far away from Fiore, so that they may train themselves, to become strong again, and take down the Dark Rangers, so they could live in peace.

By the time they came out of their hiding place in Sinnoh, they were already too late…

The Ranger’s had taken over Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and were beginning their conquest to rule Sinnoh. The trainers, who fought the Ranger’s for hundreds of years, were ready.

A boy, named Chris Trosh, was born just when the Ranger’s attacked. He was born with a birthmark on his forehead, which resembled the God Pokemon, Arceus. The Trainers believed him to be the savior, and so, they trained him the hardest, so one day, he could stop the Dark Ranger’s.

And so, by the time Chris was 12, he was ready….

Thank you. It may be hard writing 39 chapters, so this is good motivation <

Chapter 1: Chris’ journey into war!

“Go, Ambipom!”
“Torterra, is up to you!”
Two boys were in a gray court, which was paved with hard cement and painted with white lines which divided the courts into two parts. One part held a boy around 5 feet tall, with curly hair. He was commanding a strong Torterra, and the other boy was a boy equally tall with long hair with a black vest and long black pants.
“Ok, Torterra! Time to use Leaf Storm!” The one boy yelled out
“Ambipom! Dodge and then use fake out!”
Ambipom ran up to Tortearra as the leaves came towards Ambipom at fast speed. As the leaves came to him, Ambipom jumped into the leaves. He then slapped Torterra which stunned him.
“Torterra! No!”
“Ambipom! Now use Aerial Ace!”
“T-Torterra…”
“Torterra!”
“Well, it looks like I won again!” The boy with a black vest said.
“Well, Chris, you DO have more experience than I do. Plus, that Ambipom is super powerful!”
“You’re right, Adam. Ambipom’s the best. You’re Torterra was really good also.” Chris replied.
“Very well done” A tall man dressed in a gray vest and pants. He had red spikey hair and black glasses.
“Sergeant Dean! We didn’t see you there!” Adam said surprised. Sergeant Dean stepped out from the back of the room, and walked towards Adam and Chris.
“You both did very well. Adam, your only flaw was, that you didn’t use Torterra’s Curse attack before Ambipom used Fake Out. That would’ve given your defense a boost, allowing you to recover. And, Chris. You did well, as always.”
“Thanks, Dean. But, that’s only one of our Pokemon” Chris replied.
“True. You both are almost ready to battle the Ranger’s. I hope you know how tough they can be. If they capture you, its over. You die. I hope you’re willing to take that risk. This war… its as important as anything to me. To you. To all the Trainers and even the Ranger’s.” Sergeant Dean said, as he paused after every sentence, and bowed his head after he finished speaking.
“… I… I- know, Dean. This war means everything to us. I understand. And I AM willing to risk my life for it.” Chris replied.
“Adam, you haven’t said anything” Dean directed his question to Adam, who was looking down at the ground.
“Huh-? What? Oh, yes… sorry, I was just thinking…”
“Thinking what, Adam?” Chris asked.
“Thinking that maybe this war has transformed the world. That maybe… even if we win, the world won’t return to normal. What if we’re fighting to have the world the way it is now?” Adam pleaded, as Dean looked puzzled.
“Adam… you have to understand, that after evil is ever vanquished, whatever was once love, will become love again. Don’t worry. The world WILL return to normal. That, I can promise you”
“What are you guys talking about?” A tall, blonde girl came out of the door at the south end of the room. She had red pants and wore a blue vest.
“Oh, hi Tiffany. We weren’t talking about anything. Except how GREAT Chris and Adam’s last battle was!” Sergeant Dean said to Tiffany, as he looked at Adam and Chris and winked.
“Oh. I suppose you LOST again, didn’t you little brother?” Tiffany taunted Adam, as she sticked her tongue out at him.
“It was close! I was close! Isn’t that right, Torterra?” Adam protested to his sister. They glared at each other, and looked away.
“Well, that’s enough excitement for one day!” A tall man walked out of the same door that Tiffany did. He was red-haired, like Sergeant Dean. He had the same clothes as him, except his sunglasses were orange.
“Sergeant google! So glad you could join us. We were just talking about Chris and Adam’s last battle!” Sergeant Dean filled Sergeant google in.
“Well, I’d love to catch up on the details, and I’m sure you both did well, but Chris, Luke wants you in his office pronto!” Sergeant google told Chris quickly, as Chris’ eyes bulged.
“Oh, boy… I hope I didn’t do anything wrong…” Chris said slowly
“Don’t worry! I’m sure its nothing.” Adam said comfortably.
“I sure hope so…” Chris walked out of the room.
As Chris walked down the gray halls which were paved with picture’s of the trainers fighting against the Ranger’s hung up on the walls. One of the trainers, he always stopped to look at. He was Lance, whom, Chris admired very much. He had spikey reddish hair, and was the former Elite 4 johto Champion, and Kanto champion as well.

He always saluted to Lance, whenever he walked towards his picture. After he saluted to him, he continued his descent to Luke’s office. Luke was the commander of the Trainer Association. He was also their best battler.

Chris got to Luke’s door, took a deep breath, and opened the silver doorknob. Once he got in, he saw Luke, who was prepared for Chris’ arrival. Luke was a tall boy, who was only slightly older than Chris. He had spikey blue hair and he wore a green coat with horn-rimmed glasses. “Hello, Chris! I suppose you’re wondering why I called you here?” Luke asked.
“Well, yes, I admit I am” Chris admitted quickly.
“Well, Chris. The reason I called you here is extremely important. Chris, as you know, we have lost some of our reinforcements in the field due to the Ranger’s OWN reinforcements. We need more trainers. I have decided to appoint YOU as a field trainer!” Luke said confidently.
“Me…? Why.. sir… I’m honored!” Chris quickly responded, but still paused while talking.
“Wait… hold you’re horses, Chris! You have to beat me in a 3-on-3 battle first! Its not THAT easy!” Luke said, confidently, but strictly.
“Oh… well, let’s battle now!” Chris said eagerly.
“Well, an eager one, are we now? Sure! Choose your 3 best Pokemon, and we’ll battle.”

The two went into the same field that he and Adam battled in. The field was cleared out for the event, so no one could distract them.

They took their places, and began the battle…

“Go, Weezing!” Chris sent out the Poison Gas Pokemon.
“Go… Espeon!” The Psychic Pokemon emerged from the Pokebeall
“You’re move” Chris said
“With pleasure! Espeon, use Psychic!” Luke commanded
“Weezing! Use Protect!”
A green wall appeared in front of Weezing, which negated the powerful Psychic attack.
“Weezing! Now use Sludge Bomb!”
Weezing emitted a powerful bomb of poison out of one of its mouths, which directly hit Espeon.
“Peon...” Espeon laid down unconscious.
“Espeon!” Luke returned his Espeon to its Pokeball.
“Nice move, but not good enough to beat me! Go Flareon!” Luke sent out the Flaming Pokemon to combat with Weezing.
“Weezing! Use Sludge Bomb again!”
“Flareon! Use Fire Blast!” The attack met Weezing’s sludge bomb, and they exploded. Smoke covered the stadium, and when it cleared, it was clear that Weezing was unable to battle.
“Weezing, no!” Chris screamed.
“That was also a good move, but not as good as THIS will be! Go, Grumpig!” Chris sent out the Psychic Pig Pokemon, which bounced around the stadium on its springy tail.
“Grumpig, use Mega Punch!” Chris ordered Grumpig, as he ran up to Flareon with complete strength in his arm.
“Flareon, dodge! Then use Flame Wheel!”
Flareon dodged the attack by jumping in the air, then made a large flaming wheel that hit Grumpig.
“Grumpig! No!” Chris screamed, then said, “Grumpig! Use… Shadow Ball!”
The Dark Ball hit Flareon directly on its forehead, which caused it to faint.
“Flareon! No…” Luke sulked, and then ordered, “Go… Leafeon!”
Luke sent out his signature grass Pokemon, whom was the strongest Pokemon he owned.
“So… you’re Leafeon. Didn’t think I would have to face this.” Chris said
“Let’s see how it turns out” Luke said nicely.
“Leafeon! Use Leaf Storm!”
“Grumpig! Use Psychic to direct the Leaves back at Leafeon!”
Grumpig caused the leaves to come back to Leafeon, but Leafeon dodged them, and jumped on them towards Grumpig.
“Leafeon! Use full-throttle Take Down!”
Leafeon Tackled Chris’ Grumpig, causing it to go back and hit the wall. After it fell down, it fainted.
“Grumpig! You did well, old friend. Why don’t you return?” Chris called grumping back to its Pokeball.
“Go, Plusle!” Chris sent out the Plus Pokemon, and then looked at Luke. He looked back, and they began to fight.
“Plusle! Use Thunder!”
The attack hit Leafeon directly on its head, but that didn’t stop Leafeon.
“Leafeon! Use Leaf Storm, one more time!”
“Plusle, match it with Thunder!”
The two attacks matched, and then there was an explosion… smoke filled the whole stadium… when it cleared, it showed both Pokemon still standing. Then, they both fell to the ground. It was a tie!
“Looks like… its… a- tie…” Chris said.
“…” Luke paused for a moment, and then said
“Well done Chris! Well done! I don’t need much more proof than that to prove to me that you deserve to be in the field! Well done!” Luke congratulated Chris, and came up to him. He then shacked his hand, but Chris was frozen.
“Umm… Chris? Chris?” Luke waved his hand in front of his head.
Chris paused for a long while, and then said… “YAHHOOOOOO!” He jumped around the room excitedly, and yelled the same thing over and over again.
“Calm down, calm down!” Luke said.
“This one’s going to be great, I know it…” Luke thought in his head.

Reading through that makes me want to battle again... which I'm sure is one thing that you would have wanted as a response. Keep at it! I know it must be tough, but if the rest of the story is like that, I'm pretty sure you'll do very well with it.

Sadly, I have an event to go to tonight, so next chapter won't be up until, like... 10:30... if not, then tomorrow. However... I'll give you a spoiler... let's just say Chris, Adam, and Tiffany journey a little TOO far into the Ranger Headquarter's...

Lol. Chapter 2 up tonight. Its going to be a 2 part chapter, so prepare for lots of writing . Also, if there are any needed fixes, please don't hesitate to tell me. In addition to that, any grammer error's will be fixed upon the final draft(s). So when you tell me there's a problem, don't have it be with spelling/grammer; have it be with the plotline or the story itself. E.G, the detail or something like that. Thanks!

Chapter 2: Part 1: Rendering a mistake!

After Chris had heard the good news of becoming a field trainer, and after his battle with Luke, Chris was very sleepy.
“*YAWN!... wow. What a day… I s’pose I should tell Adam, Sergeant Dean, Sergeant google, AND Tiffany what happened.” Chris thought to himself, as he trotted down the gray castle halls of the Trainer headquarters.

Chris had come to Lance’s portrait once again, stood right in front of it, and saluted again. After he saluted, he took a long pause, and said to the portrait, “Soon, Lance, I’ll be right next to you in the field” Chris said in a soft voice, as he brought his hand down from his salute. He continued going down the halls to wherever Adam and Tiffany were.

When he got the Training Field, he saw Tiffany, Adam, and Luke. They were all smiling and looking at Chris.
“What’s going on?” Chris asked. But this time, he directed his question towards Luke.
“Oh, nothing… except your friends here are Trainer Scouts now! Which means, they can accompany you on your missions!” Luke enthusiastically told Chris with a warm smile.
“Isn’t that great, Chris!?” Adam asked quickly, and then said, “Our first mission is tomorrow. Luke’ll will you in”
“Right.” Luke began.
“We have spotted the Ranger’s up to no good. It seems as though they’ve been pulling their troops BACK into their Headquarters’, instead of putting their agents in the field. This suggests their plotting something BIG.” Luke then paused, to make sure Chris understood. Not only to make sure Chris understood, but Adam and Tiffany also understood. They all nodded, and Luke continued.
“Our sources tell us that the Ranger’s have captured the item known as the Nightmare Birthstone, which, when used correctly, awakens the evil Pokemon, Darkrai. If Darkrai is awakened, that is sure to make this war a heck of a lot harder. YOUR mission is to make sure that doesn’t happen.”
“What you’re to do is journey into the Ranger HQ, find the Nightmare Birthstone, and safely return it to Sergeant google, who’ll be waiting outside the Ranger base, just in case. Once Sergeant google has the Stone, he and his Mismagius will teleport you out of there.” Luke finally concluded their mission tutorial. Chris blinked for a few seconds, and agreed to do the mission.
“Ok, when do we start!” Chris asked.
“3:00 A.M!” Luke said as enthusiastically as Chris. Chris’ smile then turned into a frown, and everyone laughed.
“Luke, I have one question” Adam began.
“Yes, Adam. What is it?” Luke responded.
“What if… what if we get caught?”
“Excellent question. That’s what Sergeant google is for. He and you will carry Walkie-Talkies, which only YOU can talk into. You’ll tell Sergeant google if there’s a problem, and he’ll be there lickity-split. But, be warned. If this mission fails once, and you have to abort it, they’ll double the security, and make it twice as hard to get in. So, the first time has to be the ONLY time, understand?” Luke asked sternly.

“Yes, SIR!” All three of them saluted, and yelled.

“Excellent! You shall descent in the morning with Sergeant google. Remember, being your first mission, and possibly one of the most important, you’ll have to follow EXCATLY what google says. Alright?” Luke nodded his head slightly low to show respect to the 3 new trainers.

“Right. Don’t worry! We’ve got this covered” Tiffany winked to show her understanding, and Chris and Adam saluted once again.

“Alright. Get some sleep you three. Your mission begins tomorrow morning at 3:00’ sharp!” Luke commanded

Chris pondered this time, as he looked into the distance. Maybe he wasn’t pondering the time so much, but Lance. He might have been thinking of being like Lance, or meeting him. Whatever it was, Chris had pondered through Luke’s speech about the importance of the mission. He drifted off, and Luke snapped at him.

“Chris… Chris? CHRIS!” Luke slapped Chris to make sure he was still alive.

“Wha-?! Oh, yeah. The mission…” Chris said it slowly.

“Now, off to bed with you three”

As Chris slept, his over-active imagination always took him to new worlds of adventure. But tonight was… different. While he dreamed, he saw a black void. He was continually falling into it, and then, he hit the bottom. There was nothing there, so naturally, Chris called out for somebody. At this, there was an earthquake. A rather large white Pokemon with golden rings appeared. It was about the size of the Trainer headquarters’, which was rather large. Chris was shocked for a moment, and before he could react, the huge beast roared. At the roar, it ate Chris! He was falling again, but this time, when he hit the bottom, he saw something different. He saw a robot. It had a capture stylus, so it was ranger. Chris reached for a Pokeball, but he had none! The robot then made a ring around Chris, and captured him! At this, Chris woke up, sweating and breathing heavily. “Its going to be a hard day…”

Nice intro towards the action though - next chapter should be interesting! So many good fics here... there are a lot that are worth reading, and this is one of them
