Muk was struck by the Thunder and Blizzard at the same time. "Well, if I have to go down, I'M GOING DOWN WITH YOU!" it then used Explosion, hurting everyone in the room. "This was your first fight? The rest won't...be easy..." it evilly laughed as all of the Muk turned into liquid, and poured down the floor cracks. The door blocking your path out then opened. Tartar woke up. "Well I can't do any fighting, but we can still travel around this cave. Now we should probably choose another path..."

Fly couldn't dig very well into the ground, but finally caught up. He learned of the M.U.K. "well I guess we should go right?" Fly said unsure of where to go.

"I never would've expected three Muk to be so strong. That was a fun fight." Salaric said. "I'm afrai I have grown rusty. But ehy said there would be more battles...that will be fun!" Salaric's eyes turned from blue to purple to maroon as he struggled to control his lust for battle. "I say we go right." he said.

You follow the right corridor. You see a large room with a large, metal switch. "That's the Return Portal switch, I bet! Let's go!" Tartar said. You run up to the switch, but then you see a flash and a chessboard appears beneath you. Another flash, and eight Pawniard appear in front of you. A third flash, and two Bisharp, a Nidoking, a Nidoqueen, a Keldeo, a Rapidash, and two Forretress appear behind the Pawniard.
"You wish to turn off the Return Portal? Well we, like the M.U.K. you faced earlier, were wild Pokemon! We have no need to go back! We will not let you turn this switch until we die!" the Nidoking said.
OOC: Epic boss fight time :O

"Keldeo? A legendary pokemon guarding the way back as well as several other powerful pokemon...this should be a nice challenge!" Salaric yells as he unleashes a Fire Blast at the Pawniard.

Buckley didn't want to fight. But he would look like a fool doing nothing again. Some reasoning slowly developed in Buckley's head. Pawniard and Bisharp are steel, and Buckley luckily knew flamethrower. He hesitantly shot a crimson flame at Pawniard.
OoC: Slowpokes can actually learn flamethrower.
Buckley didn't want to fight. But he would look like a fool doing nothing again. Some reasoning slowly developed in Buckley's head. Pawniard and Bisharp are steel, and Buckley luckily knew flamethrower. He hesitantly shot a crimson flame at Pawniard.

Slash took a deep breath, his body crackling with power, ready to go. He closed his eyes for a few seconds. He hadn't had time to prepare in the fight against the Muks. He would not make the same mistake again. His eyes blinked open and his fist was surrounded by ice. This time, he would fight properly. He would fight like a warrior.
He remembered back, years ago, when his mom had tried to teach him chess. "How can I win?" He had asked. His mother had smiled. "You must put your opponents king in a position where he can not move to any square without being taken, nor summon any of his servants to block or take the piece that is attacking him." Despite his mothers' patient teaching, he had never really got the hang of the game. Nonetheless, he knew how to win.
"Seperate the king." He muttered to himself, then launched himself at the Nidoking.

OOC: I should've mentioned earlier that at some point in time, you should accept that your character has taken a lot of damage and it should be KO'd. Instead of taking 5 super-effective attacks and still have energy. Not saying that should happen NOW. Most Pokemon on here haven't taken too much damage.
IC: The Pawniard shielded the Pokemon behind them from the Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast, Water Gun, Ice Punch, and Flamethrower attacks. Two of them were knocked out in the process. The other Pokemon weren't hit at all with their Pawniard shields. The remaining 6 Pawniard tackled (OOC: Not the move lol) Buckley and used Night Slash on him.
