Who Do You Guys Think Would Win The Battle Between Digimon and Pokemon...

These is the first matchup...

Guilmon: Protagonist partner for season 3.

Unlike Pokémon, people are assigned 1 digimon partner, but you do find plenty of them in the Digi-realm. Depending on which season.
 
You can't compare Pokémon to Digimon. Not by any scale.
 
Pokemon because didgimon did not last very long and it is syndication and reruns and there has not been new episodes for a long tim and I was not a fan of it anyway.:)
 
ACtually, there has been a 5th season. NO, it's not only in Japan.

Apart from "mon" at the end of each name, and the fact that they become partners, that's about all the simliarities.
 
Amen, is a Christian word... Anyways, I eventually get to all of your match-ups. The battle between Agumon and Pikachu will only last for 5 days, then I'll do some others. Thx for the suggestions.
 
Of course everyone is going to choose Pokemon... this is Pokebeach forums. If it were anyone but a digimon VS Pikachu, I'd vote against him. I despise the rat, but I dislike Digimon more, unfortunately.

And "Amen" means "So be it" or "Be it truly" in Hebrew. I don't want to turn the topic into a religous discussion, but multiple religions use the word in their worship, including Islamic and Christian faiths. But I think Ivysaurous was just using it in a common sense to show agreement.

offtopic:some friends i had last year hated pokemom because they said it was a copy of digimon.
id like to know what came first?
 
I think pokemon came first and digimon followed I think because it was on fox with monster ranvher in 2000.:)
 
I've watched Digimon before, and it's actually pretty good (although, I havent watched it alot). I think Digimon wins in the anime department because the pokemon anime is... well, anyway, I think digimon beats it in that.

As for everything else, pokemon > digimon
 
Don't you think it is dumb to post such a thread on POKEMON forum??? *duh* Even if there are many people who likes Digimon there are still more people who like Pokemon the way more. I like both. :D
 
For the match-up I would go with agumon because pikachu is the weakest pokemon out there (and I hate pikachu) as for overall I would go with pokemon because there are seriously powerful pokemon out there while digimon aren't that powerful and even if they are powerful it doesn't last more then a few minutes while pokemon power doesn't end that easily.

ill give you an example

pickachu used volt tackle(his best attack)
agumon used ember ball thing (his best attack)

but digimon hav equipment n pokemon doesn't. Example wargreymon got tat claw like weapon n charizard...well all it has r fire n short shap claw...here's another example metalgarurumon tis wolf is covered wit metal n packs alot of arsenal man!! Which pokemon can stand up 2 a bunch of homing missile?
