I always wanted a Raichu (from my starter Pikachu) at my Pokemon Yellow game.
But I still don't know if that is possible...

So hereby the question: How can my starter in Pokemon Yellow (Pikachu) evolve?
At the other games it's possible to do that with a Thunderstone, but now in Pokemon Yellow

Pikachu refuses to evolve in Yellow, you have to trade it to another game, evolve it, and then trade it back.

I want to train a Goomy but in the past I've had a full team before I got to the point of getting one. I wanted to train a Gardevoir, I did it before it gained the fairy type but in X/Y Ralts isn't traded to you until post game. I hope AS/OR will allow me to train one.

You can catch Ralts on Rt. 4 in XY, actually. The only thing you can't get until post game is the Gardevoirite, which you need from that trade with Diantha.

Many Legendary Pokémon and Pokémon with common types, like Golem and Hariyama, as I usually have Pokémon of those types before I get one.

I always wanted to use a walrein during my early days playing sapphire, likewise with snorunt. I was recently able to play with walrein in pokémon xd, since I had never played before, but I have yet to use a snorunt because they always turn up so late in the game...

Me too. I also wanted to use Bagon, but there were only in like one room in a Cave.
