For future reference, pokenerd, when you make animations you have to save as .gif instead of .png.

no guys i save as gif look at my examples.

Anyway, this version of GIMP is different than normal, it says it's a development version or something. so you can't save as .gif, u have to "export" it, and then it doesn't work.

Ah, yes. Ok, here's what you do when you have a multiple layer animation:
1. Click Save. Simple enough.
2. Enter the name of what you're saving.
3. After clicking save, it will give you this pop-up box. Click "save as animation," then "Export."
4. Ignore the details of the next pop-up box for now, and click "save."
Voila! It's an animation, and will be uploaded as one. 8D
