This statement is referring to the season itself, not POP8. There have been no confirmations of what exactly is in the set, though Liesik stated at the gym that it would not be a remotely disappointing set.

I think we will likely get the Choco Snacks promo set that was released back in March in Japan for POP8. Mix in a few reprints and we get 17 cards.

With any luck, yes. Pokemon ex and Pokemon * have appeared in POP packs before, so it's a possibility for Lv. Xs to show up.
Also, the 'O' in POP is capitalized- the 'O' stands for 'Organized'. You would only use a lower case 'o' for words like 'of' or 'or' (Prince of Persia would be PoP, for example).

How are you doubting what he said? The season is called grass season. You people are assuming that POP 8 will be a grass set just because of this?
Garchomp Lv.X makes sense. I'm ready to see some POP Lv.X's.

I assure you PG-Z and Garchomp lv Xs (both have alternate art that's not in anything else and they were skipped as tins) will be in there with either new cards (as much as I want it to be true I doubt it.) or reprints including Garchomp's or PG-Z's lines.

If Porygon-Z Lv.X makes it in, I'm hoping the recent P-Z promo is released there as well- it might make Rhyperior usable.

It just said grass season not grass pokemon so ya there will be some in the set but not all.
