we all know that and we all don't know why, and there have been a lot of threads about this
since it seems like I'm adding nothing to the discussion, I'll say something else: it is not, I repeat not because the porygon episode was banned, cause porygon had a second appearance in the "the world of pokemon" intro before one of the movies (can't remember which one), maybe pory2 will appear in one of the next movies, maybe it's meant to be special, who knows.

Yeh c-m is correct. Porygon2 hasnt made an appearance because of the banned episode Electric Soldier Porygon, in the 1st season of the anime. Due to many japanese kids being hospitalized due to the episode I presume they chose to stay away from the Porygon line in case of any other issues. Time heals old wounds and Porygon2 will make an appearance eventually.

Abhorsen is right. In the Porygon show there was one scene when the screen flashed red and blue. Many people watching it did get sick. Since Porygon 2 only appears in the Network, I don't think he will even have an anime appearence.

anyways, I said "it ISN'T", I even gave a reason why not, and all of you think I meant that it is because of that, no, it's not, porygon has had an anime appearance after that, so it can't be because of that (it was in a movie, but whatever)
