Porygon Z Rotation Problem

So I was looking at card scans, trying to figure out what I have that's going out in September. I came across Porygon Z Lvl. X from Majestic Dawn. It will survive rotation, but the Porygon Z It levels up from comes from a series that will be illegal in September. I looked up Porygon on SteveP's Decklist program, and there are two, one from Great Encounters, (which will be rotated out) and a Promo, DP35.

I looked at the DP Promos section on Pokebeach's scans section, but it had nothing in it. In fact a lot of the promo areas had no scans.

So my questions are:

1 Will there be a legal Porygon Z on September 1st?

2. If it is that promo, DP35, where did it come from and how could I get it?
(I know ebay, but where did it originate? Like blisters, tins, etc)

with rare candy, the porygon2 isn't the most needed, but of course for a decent deck it it. All thats needed is a porygon and a porygon z
 
1. I don't think so. There is a possibility that they put a promo Porygon in Undaunted, but I doubt that.
2. The Porygon-Z promo is in the Platinum blister pack, the other one is Gliscor.
 
Huh, this could be a problem with Porygon and Porygon 2 getting rotated, I bet they print a Porygon-Z Prime line soon to fix the problem.
 
It's still possible to play Porygon-Z (promo) after rotation hits.
1. Dump Porygon-Z into the discard pile via Volkner's Pilosophy, Regice, etc.
2. Use Garchomp Lv.X's attack to bring back the Porygon-Z as a basic.
Bam! You just got out Porygon-Z without even having a Porygon or Porygon2 in the format.

Hey, that's not a bad idea! But it's really, really slow! Hopefully they print a Porygon and Porygon2 in one of the next sets!
 
Rocket's Persian ex stayed legal when Rocket's Meowth got rotated, and we never got another one to replace it, so don't count on them reprinting Porygon just for Porygon-Z's sake.
 
I still believe they will, no matter what any skeptics may say. A lot of weird stuff has been happening with Pokemon lately, so I'm going to wait and see.
 
Reprinting a porygon with a different layout is stupid and will never happen as well as the possibility of PUSA creating one, just wake up... What can probably happen is that there will be a Porygon line in the next Japanese set, otherwise forget Porygon-Z or just play it like Lunar Wing said.

I wasn't suggesting they make a promo Porygon/Porygon2, if anything I was thinking there'd be one in the next Japanese set, but really it doesn't matter. Rocket's Persian EX was a terrible card, Promogon Z is actually a really good/respected deck-type so I don't know why they would just kill the speed and power of that deck.
 
This is why the setlist for Revived Legends kind of annoyed me. They hadn't even finished putting all of the Johto Pokemon in a post-HGSS expansion, but instead of using the missing Johto Pokemon (like Porygon/2/Z and the Swinub line), they put in Sinnoh Pokemon like Drifloon and Stunky. Well, now Porygon and Porygon2 have been rotated out and there's no cards of them to bring over to put them back in. Great planning, TCG directors.
 
Maybe they make a card, an english exclusive Porygon. Same with Porygon2. Just give it Ken Sugimori artwork and some basic attacks.

But knowing them, this is something we can only dream of.
 
This is US Localization we're talking about, otherwise known as a joke team of self appointed "game developers". They really get off on the title or something. See the Rocket's Persian thing and eight million other things that have made out metagame completely incompatible with Japan's. Embarrassing. Guess what? Other games don't have this problem. Maybe if the stance of the community reflects the incompetence of the localization teams, then whoever GameFreak has doing development in Japan right now will renegotiate localization. From what I've been told of Japan's metagame right now that would be AWESOME. We're so much narrower right now.
 
This was one of the first things I thought of when I saw the rotation. The TMs that Promogon-Z needs, are also staying. They most certainty will print a new Porygon2 and Porygon, however, will it be before the Pory-Z Promo gets rotated next year? Only time will tell.

I personally hope that they will, given that Porygon is my favorite Pokemon and all.
