In the previews of Generation 6, we saw there is now a Player Search System (PSS). This allows people to quickly find battles with friends and other people they met online.
I was wondering; does this new feature save the current data of the people in your list for you to have offline battles with their characters (like in Gold, Silver and Crystal where you could go to a house to battle one of your friends offline) or does it only show if and when people are online for you to challenge them? Does this also mean that you can get messages while playing the game for a battle with a friend?

I really liked the offline friend battles in the old games, and I hope it comes back.

How do you imagine this new system? Also they mentioned features that aren't announced yet to be in PSS, what do you think it will be?

The features are: Battle; Trade; Battle Spot; Wonder Trade; Shout Out; Holo Caster; GTS; Game Sync; O-Power; Favorites List; Profile; and PSS Settings. What are your thoughts on all these new features?

Having offline battles will be pretty great. Like a battle facility with all your friends with recent save datas so their team is updated now and then.

I think that would be a really cool idea. Would love that. Battling my friends even when they're offline, and their teams are updated every nao and then, so I never really know what I'm fighting against until I see it.

I think it would be something like the Secret Bases from Generation 3. You connect to them, battle/trade/chat, then you can find them in their Secret Bases, and you can then battle them.

It would be awesome if PSS was connected to Secret Bases. I've been a fan of Secret Bases for a long time and I'm waiting for its return! It would be great if you can synchronize your game with friends through PSS and get the Secret Bases of your friends in your game, to battle them!

There have been a lot of updates on the PSS. So there is a Wonder Trade? What I understand from it is that you will trade your offered Pokemon for another (randomly chosen) Pokémon that is being offered. Will this be a place the get happily surprised or a place to get a bunch of low leveled rodents? It seems like a nice feature to me if people don't abuse it! There might be certain requirements for the offered Pokémon.

I heard the Battle Spot offers daily challenges, which seems really awesome to me! I'm curious what kind of challenges there will be; maybe you need to win battles in specific ways. They could also be small tournaments.
 
As a way to have secret bases work without needing to put out actual secret bases, there could just be a giant apartment/hotel complex. In this place, you have a room that you can decorate as you please, and it will be saved into people's games. Then, when they want to battle you, they just have to go to this hotel, look up your name, and go.

I think this is the best idea I've seen on these forums in months. So simple, yet so awesome!
 
Does anyone think that the Pokemon will block certain Pokemon from the Wonder Trade.
Or at least give you a Pokemon of the same level.
