Pokemon (18):

3x Alolan Muk-GX
1x Alolan Muk
4x Alolan Grimer
2x Tapu-Lele-GX
2x Ariados
2x Spinarak
2x Hypno
2x Drowzee

Trainers (32):

4x Sycamore
4x N
1x Guzma (Better than Lysandre here because Muk has 4 Retreat Cost)
1x Brigette
1x Delinquent
1x Pokemon Center Lady (We don't have a way to remove Poison from Muk, so this is here in case of an awkward case where Muk would die from Ariados's Poison.)
4x Ultra Ball
4x VS Seeker
1x Super Rod
2x Special Charge
3x Choice Band
2x Float Stone
4x All-Night Party

Energy (10):

6x Basic Dark Energy
4x Double Colorless Energy

The Strategy:

Use Hypno's Ability to put both Actives to sleep, use Ariados to Poison both Actives, then use All Night Party on Muk, then attack with Muk for 190 with Ariados and Choice Band. The damage is less than Muk/Salazzle but this deck is more consistent. Let me know what you guys think :)

Some notes:
You can run 4 Alolan Muk-GX and 1 Alolan Muk (have different names)
Take out Deliquent for another Guzma
Otherwise looks good! Nice Decklist!

What about playing the new riachu?

Ability: Evo Shock
When you play this card from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon during your turn, you may leave your opponent’s Active Pokemon Paralyzed.

Thanks! I agree adding another Guzma is a good idea. -1 Delinquent +1 Guzma.

I don't think Raichu is suited for this type of Alolan Muk deck. In order to fit even a 1-1 line in, I'd have to add DeEvolution Spray to make it even somewhat effective, and that's already six deck spots right there. Thanks for the advice though :)
A one count of seviper could be good as it would allow for 1 hits against stage 1 gxs
That's absolutely true, it would be a great tech. -1 Float Stone +1 Seviper.

Thanks everyone :)

Why not Salazzle/ Raichu? You could play Po Town and Acerola and some Devo. You'd be hitting much better numbers without putting yourself to sleep or poisoning yourself. Four N is a lot. I think 2-3 N and a Hala makes more sense, since your GX attack is free. With Po Town you can also use Drampa as a second attacker.

Because that would be completely reliant on getting DeVo sprays each turn. I thought of that as soon as I saw Muk, but unless you do something like Po Town and Acerola I dont think it would be consistent at all. Also, running Po Town would mewn putting Muk at 190HP which is significant against things like Ninetales-GX or Turt/Volcanion as they one shot with a Choice Band (Turt does, Volc does with a Steam Up and a Band). This is another idea to test though.

You wouldn't. Acerola would also be there to help you scoop your bench, and Super Scoop Up is being reprinted in this set. You're trading reliable damage for something that's gimmicky at best.

And you would put down Po town down AFTER evolving Muk.

To add my two cents to the Salazzle argument, I have run Salazzle, Ninetales in expanded since Salazzle was released which is pretty much the Non EX/GX attacker version of this deck. While it is expanded and so there is a different card pool, I usually have no issues consistently evolving Salazzles using just devo sprays and AZ's which could be replaced with Acerola and po town etc. And that also considering I use some of my devo sprays on Ninetales to reuse her bight look ability. I think the Consistently high damage with Salazzle and my experience being able to use her effect consistently would make that a better build for Alolan Muk GX.

Yeah, your probably right. Po Town just gives me the shivers be lowering Muk's HP to 190 but if you run field blower you could just use one and then play Muk, like @CaptZero said. I will be using the Salazzle build instead :)

Muk/Salazzle is much better it hits the same damage and doesn’t rely on hitting that stadium
