ORAS Post-Game Hopes and Expectations

You know, all they need to do, is make the old-method give you some special feebas but make it easier for regular feebas. Could be with new ability or different visual form ala basculin/shellos/vivillon etc.

The thing about distribution and trading is that not everyone is able to do those things. Not everyone has wifi, not everyone knows every little detail about their wifi network to input into their 3DS to make a connection, and not everyone is willing to spend money on Pokemon Bank or has parents/guardians that would let them. For some people, in-game is all they have. In-game was all I had until around 3 months ago when I found out that if I go into the network properties of my wifi connection, I can see the security key. I'd been trying to find a way to connect since the Diamond and Pearl era, and was finally able to recently. So the "this is unnecessary because you can just trade or transfer through Pokemon Bank" mentality is falsely assuming that everyone has the privilege and ability to do so.

That last sentence sums up what you said above it and it's true. But, I still don't think Feebas' method shouldn't be changed except for adding a few more tiles. I still don't have 3DS and my DS was never connected to Wi-fi and I found my Feebas back in Sapphire because the Dex said they were there so I spend a couple of days fishing in every single spot until at least five times until I found one with Feebas. Sure, back then I was a child and had far more time to spend playing but when I found one It was the best of rewards! Most of young adults and beyond (these are the ones with less time to spend days fishing) most likely already know the secret to obtain Feebas and if they don't because they never played a Hoenn game, then most likely one of two options will appear: spend what little time they have fishing or going to the internet looking for an answer. In the last case, it will be a young adult with little time to fish and even without internet and that one will really have to go through it or give up.

I really hope that they fix a few of the details about Pokedex entries for my region, so that they arent always in nonesense pounds and inches and rather the more logical metric system. If the japanese games have kg and metres, why can't I? Also, if they could fix that annoying date system from the americanised way into the way it should be and always has been. DD/MM/YYYY - or at least have the option to change it. We aren't all americans here geez.
