Post Next Destinies

I dont get how Shaymin could be a Truth counter. If you KO their active, they will just send up a benched and KO Shaymin for the game. IMO, I dont even see the Truth being played post Next Destinies because there will be so much Magnezone and Mewtwo.

EDIT: I also do not ever see Ultra Ball being more than a one of. You need to discard 2 cards, which can not be very helpful when you already have Junk Arm, and Junk Arm can get better stuff than Ultra Ball can. IMO, the best decks post Next Destinies will be either decks that can utilize Level Ball and Heavy Ball the most or just extremely powerful decks such as Mewtwo.
 
I do see how The Truth could be played, but with different attackers.. Magnezone I already a problem, and was for Worlds, yet google still won.

For Mewtwo, to ko my attacker you will have to get lots of energy onto your Mewtwo while I have a Donphan 3hkoing you while you need, what, 6 energy to knockout me? Or, I have SEL. I return my energy to my hand, so you can only do 40 max off of my energy, and need 6 for ko. EXs have high HP to so they will work. In almost all cases, Mewtwo needs 6 Energy. Under trainer lock. I do 60 with Earthquake, even if I am knocked out I can send up my Groundon EX and knock you out for two prizes, and since you already have used resources to set up Mewtwos under trainer lock, it may be a while before you can get out another. In the mean time I proceed to sweep with Mewtwo.
 
I have a feeling that EX's will be attacking in google. They just have so much hp. For that reason, SEL and donphan may become obsolete.
 
I agree, I mostly see the EXs attacking too, though a Donphan for a quick attacker while the bulky EXs are being set up could be useful. SEL is also just an example - it has practically been discontinued already.
 
If that's the case then what's a good replacement Pre-Next Destinies over SEL? I'm trying to get a new deck working at the moment and I need a good Fire tech to get around Cobalion and Virizion, and If I run Reshiram, I won't be able to use Outrage cause of Durant.
 
I was thinking that too, so would I need to run 4 Fire Victini (V-Create) over 2-2 SEL then, with maybe 1 or 2 Pichu to fill my bench for the attack with Playground?
 
What? Why would you discontinue SEL? It's amazing against Cobalion and Virizion, and it can be used as a pseudo sniper.

SEL has 160hp (just under EXs), has the same 2 prize penalty of the EXs, is cost effective as far as it's attacks go, has great sniping capability (ko reuniclus, weakened attackers, basics, etc) and a good RC. I don't see why it would be discontinued just because there are other attackers that also have high hp. He still fairly regularly will 2 shot EXs because out of 3 burn flips, you are bound to get at least 1 tails in your favor. The only thing he has that is really bad for him right now is his lightning weakness, and I don't see Zekrom EX making it any worse than it already is with magnezone being so popular right now. He can use DCE and brings something to the table that most EXs don't, sniping. And With Kyurem being bad now and the new water EXs not being very good either, the water weakness won't really matter anymore.
 
Has Dark-Rush empoleon (with diver draw ability) been confirmed for ND yet?

Does anyone have a list of confirmed cards yet?

It is not used very much anymore because TyRam is not as popular, and Magnezone is more popular. Magnezone hits SEL for weakness, lost zoning 2 energy for the knockout. It is not the EXs, it is the meta shift.

I think thats it currently confirmed (maybe Kyurem EX?). About Empoleon, it will almost certainly not be in ND, it will probably be in our May release.
 
I'm fairly certain that Regigigas EX has been confirmed as well. While we can assume that most if not all of the cards in Psycho Blizzard, Hail Drive, and the Reshiram EX and Zekrom EX starter decks will be in it, there is no way to know for sure, and we could get cards from Dark Rush, like how we got Conkeldurr from Hail Blizzard in Noble Victories.

We also know 6 EX's, so Regigigas, Shaymin, and Kyurem are my guesses. There are a few more scans if you looked on pokebeach a while back
