Posting from your Wii?

Yeah, it's only slightly useful in some areas. Trades and Battles are pretty easy to coordinate, but not for everyday posting. It just takes too long.

I post from my DSi some. Not too much because the majority of the time, I'm on the computer. But sometimes I use the DSi. It's hard, but handy. ;D

I have PMed from the Wii. Never again.

Also I reckon the i's actual typing speed makes it more efficient than the Wii. They both suck though.
 
I have made a few posts with the Wii, but I wouldn't recommend it.

There exists a third-party keyboard made specifically for the Wii; have any of you ever used it?
 
Guys you have to remember it takes a lot of memory to use the Wii to di anything. Look how slow the DS proccessor is when saving a game. That tales 15 seconds just for a lot of transfering. Overtime it will get faster. The jist came out with Wi-Fi in 2001 when the DS came out and the Wii came out on November 19th in 2006. It has only been nearly 3 years. They might come out with a better proccessor Wii un 2-7 years. Computers were the same way. They started out slow and now they much faster because of technology. When technology is better for the Wii it will be faster too. The Wii is a computer made by Nintendo and the DSL/DSi is a handheld laptop computer. They will be faster eventually. Overtime they will be better, For now thank god you can still access the unternet with a computer made by Nintendo. Sire it is slow but it works. Thank god for what you have and din't complain because there us nothing you the customer can do. Just be glad you can still be here when not using the computer.:)

Actually, I'd forgotten all about the fact you can hook up a keyboard to a Wii!

Any old keyboard will do, my brother's done it before. ^_^

I've heard of it and its ridiculous $50 price. I'd rather buy a crappy Wii game than a keyboard. The computer is soooo much better.

There's nothing you can do as the customer? That's extremely flawed logic. How about NOT BUYING THEIR SLOW PRODUCTS AND SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT WORKS BETTER? If I was buying a portable device to access the internet on, a dsi would be the LAST thing I would consider buying.

Also why anyone would want to go on this forum while not using the computer is something i'll hopefully never understand.
 
I used to post using my PSP - key word is "used." I don't even bother trying to post with that thing anymore.
 
Well, internet suprisingly is faster on my DSi then the Wii which I don't get....I've tried posting from both, but it doesn't want to type in the box *kicks both machines*

The Wii is mainly meant for back up use when the computer is down. Also it is good for small stuff but not meant for heavy use like the computer. Once and awhile sure but not all the time. I don't have a Wii but I have heard from many owners here that it is very hard to use it if you have to type anything.:)
 
I agree with dmaster, the DSi internet posting is terrible, and the internet on the DSi is low-quality, especially considering there's no use for youtube or anything involving java.

I'm not necessarily sure the Wii can do that either with java, although I know it has capibility with videos. I posted on both a couple times... on the DSi, I had to make a post for my MK tourney and it took me sooooo long to get it work and then I ended up having two posts... :/

The DSi is only capible for viewing threads in my opinion, not posting in them. The Wii, is meh... alright but still the computer is obviously meant for internet. :p
 
I only posted here only once with my wii. It was really hard for me so from now on, I will post here from my computer.
 
I post from my Iphone when I go on trips.
An 11 year old with an Iphone, I rock...

-xxashxx lol, the wii isn't a "computer" and the DSi isn't a "laptop" they are gaming consoles. that just so happen to come w/ crappy internet connection, i have never posted from a wii, and i hope i will never have to. i also doubt that the people at nintendo were like "Aha! they can use the wii when their computers are down!" Not trying to start a flame war.
